Yellow hose on suit

I was wondering if anyone knows what the yellow hose on the flight suit was suppose to be used for. also, what is the lifesaver and the sniffer? Please post here

the yellow hose is a mystery....the life saver, think avalanche gear (if you are taken down, other units can pick up it's signal and find you; usually through a sound pulse indicator) the sniffer? a bacharac gas sniffer (little help, I think that's what it's called)

This was covered some where else on this site. I'll spare you the link (because I don't wanna search for it) and just tell you. The yellow hose is a cathader tube, like most fighter pilot suits have or had. The ghost sniffer was some kind of modified gas sniffer, maybe a radon sniffer.
