Cardboard Packs n traps!!!!

hey , i've started to make props out of cardboard.
the trap is abt half way.
also tyhinkin to make a proton pack.
can ne1 give me ideas to paint it, so it wud look like as if metal. so any ideas r welcome!!!!

some of my pack was made of cardboard i used rustoleum semi gloss paint and it really doesn't look that bad

first remove the cardboard grain; a few layers of acrylic paint should be sufficient...then paint it with an aluminum rustolium paint (in case you want to weather the final coat) and then use the semi-gloss bkack...if the acrylic paint bunches in areas, sand off the lumps then paint too ensure a smooth surface.

i just finished my all cardboard pack paint with spray paint
