sg1star: Spell check, friend...spell check.

Vinz_Clortho: Ignorance? It's great to see that you convieniently left out the part of my post where I stated that 3D models require talent. See, that's an example of true ignorance, sir. I'm agreeing with you, mostly. I do a bit of 3D modeling. I'm no expert but I've done enough of it to know what does into it, and the level of difficulty, etc. (It's Rhino, not Rhyno..); the point of my arguement was that I don't think 3d models count as props. I've been making real, actual Ghostbuster props since 1996. They take a mind-numbing (you should be familiar with this feeling) amount of time, talent and patience. This is the key part of what I have to say, so pay attention: SO DO 3D MODELS. However (still paying attention?), do 3D models count as props? If you want to think so, fine, but I disagree wholeheartedly. And that's all I have to say on the matter - as though I'm going to cause some sort of a change anyhow...Whatever.

lol, i think some of you guys need to remember the definition of a prop....most of what you guys build are PROP REPLICAS, not props.

with that being said, i think the 3D models rock!

We have nowhere else to display our 3d skills, so putting them in the "props" is our only alternative.

First, I just wanna say Sg1...daymn. I love those Ecto-1s ya did. (However, you got her riding a bit too low, but that's okay!)

Second, I think Mellie was on the right track with the separate 3-D Prop section. I'm a penciler, and it's a lot easier to draw up a pack than build one. I no longer have the funds with which to do so, making my only pack my only pack. However, to demean anything is entirely wrong and pig headed.

Think of this: items used in movies are called props, right? Those are the objects other than the actors. Okay, now let's examine computer animated movies like Final Fantasy. In a 3-D world, those props were props by the earlier mentioned standards, were they not?

Segregation shouldn't be an issue because we don't all have the skill, money or time to build "real" props. So, if someone chooses to make their own through other skills available to them, I say you should support them and take it for what it is, not what it's not.

They count as props.. but there are lots of pictures of stuff in the prop section that are not props. Look at my 3d pack here:

Bad ratings? Yep.
