What is your favorite Ghostbusters game and for what platform and why? I love Ghostbusters for Sega, more or less becasue of the great graphics and great gameplay. The contols were simply and the games wasn't impossible.

I just played Extreme Ghostbusters for GBA, that game is now the best. The Graphics are great, the controls are simple and the gameplay is awsome. I recomen EGB for everyone.

Ghostbusters for the Genesis and Ghostbusters 2 for the Gameboy. Wasn't New Ghostbusters 2 basically an NES port of GB2 for Gameboy? Seems like it was, though I can't remember...

Anyway, GB for Gameboy was okay. But it really isn't a GB game. The Garfield game for Gameboy is the same thing with different graphics. I'm not lying.

Arcade game? There was an arcade game?

Boy, looking at all my options, I'd have to say...

The Ghostbusters Role-playing Game from West End Games.

*grin* I haven't really had a chance to play much of the video games, although I did own one for the Commodore 64 however many years back. Didn't really play it much though. (I wasn't as much a GB fanatic as I am now.)

Hmm... I just might have to dig that thing out of my mom's basement...

Love and Stuff,
Una

The best one is surely the Commodore64 / Sega Master System one. It's the same game, it was first done on C64, then converted for the SMS.

You had to buy equipment, hunt ghosts (don't cross the streams!), empty traps, drive the ecto1, make money, try to fight Marshmallow man.. a great game.

The GBA game is cool too, but it's too simple.

My favorite ghostbusters games are:
Ghostbusters(Sega Master System)
Ghostbusters(Sega Genesis)
Ghostbusters2(Nintendo game boy)
The Real Ghostbusters (Arcade game)

Here is a very good site to download GB games from:
http://www.ecto-web.biz.be/
on this site you can find all the sega GB games, nintendo GB games, Atari, RGB arcade game, and many more!
when you download the game make sure you download the right emulator to play the game on.
Here is a good emulator site:
http://www.emulator-zone.com/
If ya haven't played these games in a long time and ya don't have those old system anymore; ecto-web is the best place to find your favorite GB games.

I hope this helps. smile
Joe
