GHOSTBUSTERS is pratically DEAD. Sure, they came out with a few things somewhat recently. The game EGB: Code Ecto-1 or whatever it's called (which i'm sure sucks anyways), the ecto-1 model (which is pretty cool) and the comic book. The comic book seems cool but do you think it's actually going to last or spark up any kind of new ghostbusters cartoon or something? More than likely not! It'll probably end up in the 25 cents section of your local comic book store sooner than you think. One thing that was really starting to look up was Ghostbusters Doom. I mean you could actaully feel like your a ghostbuster! Using all the cool ghostbusting tools and visiting places that were in the movie...than it stopped being developed any further and were left with a unfinished ghostbusters doom which had great potential. SO even Ghostbusters Doom is dead. And whatever happened to Ghostbusters 2120?! Ghostbusters I believe is seeing it's final days. Ever since all hope of seeing a Ghostbusters 3 died out (since it's not even a dream for movie makers out there in hollywood to make this movie) it seems like Ghostbusters is beginning to take a downfall. This day and age seems to be the reign of comic books turning into kick ass movies. Ghostbusters is dying. This comic book coming out is more than likely its last breath.

Ain't we the little pessimist? I believe the comic will work and help revive the GB franchise, and to be perfectly honest, I doubt GB Doom would have made any damn difference to things.

it may not of made any difference but it sure would of been DAMN entertaining and great to the ghostbusters community....and for the comic book re-starting up the GB franchise.....YEAH OK....my dead grandma will roll over in her grave before that happens.

Well if its dead then why is Ecto1a at Universal Studios and also Universal has a Gb's show

Why are you complaining about it here? And, I'd like to add, Ghostbusters, as a movie, was never alive to begin with. The only thing that was alive and full of merchandise was RGB, which died for the most part over a decade ago. Of course it's gonna be pretty much dead now. After so many years that tends to happen. I also believe that the comic will help revive Ghostbusters. I don't think that the comic alone will make everyone go GB crazy, but it can definately start some stuff that will.

Damn bro, give it a chance. Wait until the comic comes out. If you really feel the way you do, maybe your interest in GBs is "dead." And you need to move onto some other interest for the time being.
I know this happens to me now and then, when "nothing" seems to be going on with GBs that's huge I lose interest.

Where have you been? Ghostbusters has been dead for six years (when EGB died), and was dead for six years before that. The comic is a comeback.

I still have hope in Gb everything .... If they can come out with the new TMNT show's and He-man show's along with a new toy line then why can't GB's have at least a new toy line.... To me the late 80's and early 90's cartoons are coming back in style....
But this is what all I beleive .
