Apparently, Ghostbusters figures are on the way

Today I was in my local comic book shop and I was asking about the Ghostbusters comic. Well, the guy was like "I don't know anything about a comic, but I know they are making figures." I was really skeptical at first and I was like "where did you hear this." Well he said that this guy that comes in there is a sculpture for a toy company and is working on figures based on the movie. Apparently he sculpted one of the Hellraiser figures, here's a peak at it:

I don't know I guess we'll see what happens, but I used to work at that place and I don't see any reason they would lie about that though he could be misinformed or something, but let's hope this is true!

Great, I hope it could happens. I didn�t know there are HELLRAISER figures, HELLRAISER are such great horror movies.

Yeah, looks like a good time to be a GB fan. I wasn't aware that there was a bit more support to the fandom in this 80s revival than just the comic....

Amazing how they got likeness rights. Since none of the actors have ever given away their rights to be put on figures, especially Bill. But I hope I am wrong and this does turn out to be true.

I'm also wondering how it was possible to get the rights for likenesses... But as others, I hope that it's true. IF figures are made that's one more thing that I'm going to have to come up with money for (multiple times of money, as I buy one comic if I like it, but at least 2 figures if I REALLY like them) along with figuring out a way to get them if they're released (damn outlet wal-marts and outlet k*b toys). I guess we'll find out what's going on as time passes.

Actually, Dan said he didn't mind having his Likeness used. In fact, he wanted it to be used. And there are several recent Action Figures with his Likeness. Like the Coneheads and Blues Brothers Action Figures.
Is there any more news on this yet? I want to see pictures! Hey, if Likenesses aren't a problem, then maybe they could be used in the New Comic and a possible new Video Game.
