I had a real cool Ghostbusters related dream last night!

Okay... it all started on a street in my town. Mind you, the whole dream was based pretty much on the Real Ghostbusters, nit the movie. So, I was louis Tully, and the rest of the guys were trying to catch the scolari brothers outside. They trapped one of them, and I ran up and asked if they needed any help. They said yes, gave me a proton pack, and told me how to use it. The second Scolari brother flew into the street, and I fired at him. I caught him in my proton stream and positioned him over the trap. The other 4 Ghostbusters hooked onto him too. Ray counted down from 4 for us to let go. When he shouted "Now!", we all let go and turned away from the trap (like in the movie) as Ray stomped on the pedel. We looked up to see the trap broken and fried. "The trap malfunctioned!" Ray shouted. All of a sudden we heared and felt some large footsteps. "Oh shit!" shouted Winston as Stay Puft came into view. Now this is where is gets weird. I am now Peter instead of Louis. We had to drop off a few $20 bills next to some small model of a city bus in order to stop him. I ran and dropped off the money and came back... hoping I wasn't too late. Stay Puft now was holding a proton pack, and aiming the neutrona thrower at us. I stood in the middle of the road with my gun drawn, pointed at him. He switched his gun on, and so did I. Right as he flipped the switch on to shoot all of us, he exploded into a giant beam of light. We then went back to the fire house, and there has a ton of RGB merchandise sitting on a shelf. I went to brush my teeth but I couldn't figure out which toothbrush was mine. Everyone else went to bed, and I went to the store to get some soda.
Weird dream, huh? It was pretty cool though.

Quite - but mine was better. In my dream a traffic warden was saying somthing to Mr Stay Puft about standing near the curb. Then I saw he was covered in ants and they were trying to eat him. Then I was in my house (I think) and it was on the news that there were too many ants about as it's mating season and it's best not to go outdoors.

I usually dream..........well, I won't go into all the details. Let's just say it involves(AHEM!) a certain someone. I'll give you three guesses as to who it is.
Then again I also like to dream that I'm pounding Janine's ***.

thats disturbing, but i recommend keeping a journal to write down your dreams. You forget the details otherwise

With regard to the starter message of this thread, how did it feel - you a real character - to be walking around in a drawn environment? It must be a bit like how Roger Rabbit feels but then the opposite

The strangest Ghostbuster dream I had was one about two months ago, when the "It's Coming!" buisness was still mysterious. I dreamt that the comic came out and the writers were Bo Holbrook and Back. I don't remember anything else, but suspect that Ray got into lots of arguments and Venkman made lots of poop jokes.
Several years ago, I had a "Ghostbusters 3" dream, where they drove around the ECTO-1B, a Mercury station wagon just like the one my Mom had when I was a kid, John Candy was in it, and Egon kept calling Albany to talk to "my wife Janine and the kids".
(What's really weird is that this was before I got the Ghostbusters DVD, and knew that John Candy was originally offered the part of Louis Tully)

As for the enviroment being cartoonish... it wasn't. The people and ghosts were. The trap was styled after RGB, but the packs wernt...
I used to keep a dream journal back when I was interested in lucid dreaming...... I did for a little under a week, and I actually started doing lucid dreaming, but it got to be to much of a hasle to keep the journal (I mean, like an hour a day), so I stopped.

I guess this could be your online journal. Interesting dream though. I never had one where I dreamt I was a Ghostbuster, but I did dream once that LordVego and River_of_Slime lived on my street.

I only had two Ghostbusters Dream in life as much as i love Ghostbusters I only two dreams.
ok first dream of Ghostbusters I ever had was that I went to USF and I stoled the Ecto-1 and started riding around it. The weird thing is I never been to USF.
the second dream I had was a Ghostbusters III trailer. First too many ghost were popping out and then The 4 boys in gray came out with Louis? then a Ghostbusters III symbol pop out. that was it.

interesting, I dreamt about GBs recently too, it was all about stay puft lol 
could be something weird, people dreaming about Gbs as of late....when I told Jay about mine, he said he dreamt of GBs too....
or is this a common occurance with everyone? I know I've had a few Gb dreams before....or maybe we're all just nuts

i had a cool dream where i was a gbw ith the other four. ME a ghostbuster which was coool. i got to strap on a proton pack and shoot it at vigo and then ray had a brainstorm and went on about slimeblowers and positive slime. so we went back and grabbed the slimblowers out of ecto 1 me n ray wore them while the other three still had proton packs and we totally kicked vigo but indstead of hosing janosh i punched him in the face (he is so annoying). then i dont remember much but it was weird and in a ghostbusters doom kind of world v strange but the ppl and stuff were real the environment was like doom. then i woked up after high fiving ray i think
being a ghostbuster is gr8!

HEY dark ghost, i had a very similar dream where i was a ghostbuster during the final scene of gb2!! i had it a year ago...i remember being in the statue of liberty and then rappeling out and then janosh turned into vigo and so we powered up our packs and then all of the candle flames in the room turned into ghosts and we had to get into ecto 1 and 1a (wierd) and i got to drive 1a and then after we had caught all of the ghosts we got back to vigo and he was gone and his picture had changed to the mona lisa....ver wierd but also really cool!
thats the only one i've ever had though...

i too have gb dreams. most of mine are me busting some big bad ghouls with the rgbs. mostly we bust the people busters. and some times i turn into a giant beast thing with a proton pack busting ghosts. but i do have some dreams where i am in the empty fire house with janine and one thing leads to another and we ....thats all i'm saying about that. but most my dreams are totaly cool and i kick alot of ghost ass.
you kick janine's ass? dude you are really messed up brother/maybe tonight i'll dream i'm blasting your ass with a proton beam!

   I'M SORRY! please don't kill me egon's babe i didn't look at how wrote the message. and just froget what i wrote about the blast your ass thing i did not mean that .   when i wrote that i thought i was talking to a guy and if a man did say that then he would be messed up but sence you are a girl/woman/babe,please and i mean p.l.e.a.s.e frogive me. i'm really sorry.
