I'm not a big help myself, go figure, but please keep us informed, I have GTA 3 for the PS2, and its awsome by itself, so a PC GTA3 mod would be awsome, just awsome!

Hi I wanna help you guys but i dont have the knowledge or the programs if someone sends me the right programs (of links) [email protected] (or by msn) i wanne help you out with easy skins or the sound.. wink ...i love this plan their are no good gb games out on the market right now lets show the world GB is still hot as hell... mad mad \m/ mad mad

Well, I own a copy of 3d Studio Max and I am slowly learning the tricks of 3d modeling. I've even messed around a bit with the main character's model from GTA3...trying to make a Mad Max skin/mod. I would love to offer my help, but I'm not sure if I'm qualified enough to be of any use. Let me know if I can help...

yeah, all you'd have to do for the soundeffects is play either gb1/2 on your comp and then recording it with sound recorder! by the way, what about winston????

some tips

should be in vice city

ecto 1(a) should be worked with the amulance skin and the hearses body (with the lights too)


the fire house could be at love fists recording studio (nerd)

**lets not forget the eager players waiting for a simple gb mod or even just ecto 1! you should start it off as a simple mod with maybe ecto 1, proton packs, traps, and sub-missions. Then you could work up! tongue

well why would they put it in vice city? Vice city is like "Florida" with its beachs and palm trees and all. and GTA3 is in a "New York" area with tall buildings and dirty streets of that such the area of gta3 is better for GB but i do think vice city is better than gta3 oh and do you really think Egon would say "holy shit?" i mean i'd figure he'd say something more educated. but anyways this sounds really cool and all so i'm all for it good luck to ya all who are working on it.

Ok, looking through this list, I've noticed a few things that weren't mentioned that would be needed for this mod (Not to be negative). Number 1, You'd totally need to tweak the game physics if you want ghosts to hover and/or float. Number 2, you'd need a whole new mesh set for ghosts, otherwise, every spook would be humanoid. Number 3, just adding a 3D model of Ecto-1 is great, but, you'd need to patch the game so that it would only spawn one at a time, otherwise, there'd be a dozen of them in the city at any given time. I have a friend that's heavily into modding, so, maybe I'll ask him how to do this stuff. Well, just wanted to give some input. I'm out... tongue

ell what i meant about vice city was

a) the buisness district of vice city might resemble New York

b) it would be easier because it gives you the option of going into buildings

c) it gives you the option of changing clothes (in and out of jumpsuit)

d) though vice city is a florida type place you can re-map and so the game is better based on options


also it is simple to get it so there would be only (1) ecto 1, all you would have to to is make ecto 1 take the place of the "lovefist" limo. I did it the BTTF delorean. The only other way to get it is to spawn it in a garage. Also you COULD somehow relate to flying ghosts to the police helicopters right? (i dunno i don't know that much about computers sad )
