Ghostbusters Total Conversion For Grand Theft Auto 3 IN PROGRESS!!!!!

sorry i havnet replied in a while internets been down at my house anyway heres some of the story ive made its kinda long though and its only got two short missions in it plz criticize good bad whatever
you and your buddy are on a trip to new york city and are going to collage on your way back from the univesity of new york the bridge suddenly explodes you go flying out the car while your freind is still in the car (you think) boom there goes you car (wich happens to be the one on fire in the begening) stunned by the thought your freinds dead you look over and see, simalar to one youve seen in your dreams immediatly you realize its a ghost. bloody and brused you pass out and are taken to the hospital by the ambulace that came.Three days later you awake in a hospital bed you have temporary amnesia looking around you see a doctor "welcome back" he said "you've benn unconciense for three days and you appear to have amnesia,but we dont have an kind of medical profile or name we dont even know who were ganna call.. Were ganna have to keep you here another day or two until you are well enuogh to leave and in the meantime were going to try to figure out who you are." "get some rest. Maybe youll dream a memory or something". You wake up its morning you dremt bits and peices of the bridge incident. Looking to your left you see a tv remote you grab it look around and see the tv. turning it on you see a coca cola commercial followed by the anoying ones about maccaroni and cheese then the show comes back on it the price is right changing the channel its another stupid comersial sighing heavaly you also see a tv guide to you left on the side table. picking it up yo start to flip through it not knowing what day it is you call up a nurse with that nifty lil red button. A few minutes later she arrives. "Yes? Can i help you" she says politley. "yeah what day is it?" you ask "why its october 23rd a tue..." she was cut off by a commercial that was recorded way to loud. "Are you afraid at night.... are you truobled by things you cant explain...... then if so dont wait another second call the proffesional us a number flahes on the sreen ,555-jlk6, suddenly the memory pops in your head the explosion the ghost the freind but you still cant remember any of the detais names other memorys quickly you ask the nurse for her pen. "well okay but if you ask me these guys are just a bunch of con artists" "yeah well im not asking you am i?" you say. Quickly you write down the number and the adress. later they release you out into the city. Misson start. out in the city in front of the hospital you call a cab well actually you steal it but hey what can you do. going straight to the apartment they had reserved for you "your hideout" heading out to the discount clothing store "mr. wongs loundamat" you get some new clothes.Misson Ended by walking into store. (at this point your are instructed to open the skins archive and pick out some new clothe Note these were included in the total conversion) calling a taxi or walking you go to the adress on the torn out page of the tv guide. ariving at the ghostbusters you walk in go to the desk and say you have a job for them. immediatly peter jumps over his little wall coming over. "Hi im peter Venkman please, step into my office" you walk in and take a seat. "now how can i help you?" he says. So you explain the story to him as best you can. "Alright then come with me" says peter. taking you upstairs he pulls a candy bar out his pocket. almost immediatly you see a green blur that lasts about a second. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?" you yell. "im ganna get you slimer!" screams peter. shaking of the green-yellow goo thats on his hand he explains about slimer. soon you arrive in a room filled with strange items all over "hey Egon!". spinning around you see a blonde man in red glasses hanging half way off his face."what peter? im a litlle busy right now" he said. "uhh... yeah, didnt you and ray go investigate that bridge incident??" said peter. "yeah and we came up with nothing not even a tich of a signal on the pke..i told you that four days ago, why?" "Cause weve got a custamer who says he saw a ghost fly off right after the explosion. isnt that right mr. uhh what was your name again" he asked "i dont know remember....amnesia" i replied "ohh yeah, anyway he was on the bridge when it blew up said his freind was kil...." he turns to you "im sorry i didnt.." "its fine" i said "i cant even remember his name". after a while you egon and peter head out to the bridge.. getting out of the car egon pulls out his pke meter turning it on starting to stand up straight the pke makes a loud wizz noise then stops "whoa, what the...." sais egon. moving in a reverse motion slowly. it goes off again "HOLY SHIT!!!!" he drops the pke "uhh peter stay here look around see what you can find im going back to study these readings" "great well lets take a look" after about 45 minutes "great well now what we got nothing and weve been out here for at least a few hours.." says peter "actually its been like fory five minutes" you say "yeah well weve still got not...." suddenly the ground started to shake than stoped. "that came from under the bridge" i said "lets check it out" after a thurogh seach under the bridge you come up wih nothing "great well" he said starting lean on the wall "im starving lets go get some chin..." peter falls through the wall. "whoa" landing in dirt. immediatly you jump through the wall. looking around you notice a strange glowing green thing the pke in peters hand is going crazy "whoa, uh lets go tell egon and get some food" later after giving the readings to egon you head downstiars "c'mon lets go get some chinese my treat" at the restaraunt called "the chinese place" you notice the sign is spray painted as "the chinks place" you walk in. Misson start ghost flies out from the kitchen. the ghost grabs peter and starts to fly around violently. running out to the ecto you grab a proton pack "flamethrower" and trap "moltov" runn back in and trap/kill the ghost then drive to the hospital and drop off peter and go back to the firehouse.

I might suggest using the pager to send messages about missions and using the flamethrower as a slimeblower or something

Funny I'm working on a similar GTA:GB Project. But I was thinking on a smaller level. I can do audio editing. In fact i can probably integrate new sound effects also. I've been working on a few GTA compilation mods myself.
Ever think about just turning the Firehouse in Hepburn Heights into The GBHQ? It looks like it anyways.
Now I used to post on these boards all the time. And there USED to be some guys in here who were crazy with 3d studio max.
I don't care about any credit but we should get a mod going guys. Forget credit, give it to Dan Aykroyd or maybe even Red Ketchup now...
I don't know about you guys, but I wanna make a mod. I Have the statue of liberty in a working mod prototype. I also have NYPD and other New York textures and Mods ready.
If anyone else can make A FEW models or some texture maps that would be great. Some STAY PUFT marshmallow billboards would be great. We could get Jypsy to do some Radio Shows with GB news (like Casey Kasem & Larry King in GB1). Some player skins and some new vehicle missions (I can do those too).

But I would really like the community to get involved with this. Anyone who needs a copy of the game, I have one ready to zip over. AND I have editing tools...

Please, if you do a GB:GTA don't do it RGB. It should be GB.

I don't know much about computers, so what the hell does most of this mean? How good could you possibly do this? Won't you need like a good 25 ghost designs?

in reply to the no rgb but gb i wouldnt really do it like the movie but i dont wanna do it like the show i was thinking about what you said and how bout a gb3 style, anyway i ask you should it be cell shasded or no i cant decide cell shaded would be easeir and take less time to come to a realease date but a non cell shaded would take longer but look better ive already made a gb dude that is cs even though it took me five minutes but im still not sure what do you ppl think??? and as for the firehouse being the gb fire house yes thats what im ghanging it to that is if hepbun hights is the one near 8-balls then yes if thats not it then tell me wich one your thining of because that didnt really look like it oh if anyone knows what the building next to it is plz tell me i cant figure it out

oh yeah forgot some things as for ghost designs i dont know what im ganna do.i cant find anyone wou can even model i found one guy but he can do just as much as i can if not less
and i cant put any pics up cause its still in the beggening proccess
btw i dont really have alot of time to sit and think of ideas my moms sending me back to school soon so im getting ready for that and even after that ill have even less time so plz email any ideas thought or comments to [email protected] thank you
i still need help so plz plz contribute all you can
