Less than a week until Ghost Corps previews Ghostbusters: Night Shift at Annecy Film Festival. Who's excited?
Ghostbusters: Night Shift Annecy Preview and Signing Events Announced
By Chad Paulson on June 19, 2026
UPDATE: Thanks to ghosthead Jason DeMars on Twitter, we now have the official Annecy Film Festival preview date of Ghostbusters: Night Shift. It will take place right before the signing on Wednesday, June 24 at 1:30 local time. For American ghostheads, this converts to 7:30 AM Eastern / 4:30 AM Pacific.

This is a Netflix event, which is why Ray Gunn was used in the page I initially discovered below as the hero image. The preview event kicks off with Ghostbusters: Night Shift, includes other Netflix properties and lasts an hour and 30 minutes. The page states:
Executive Producers Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan will join Showrunners and Executive Producers Ben Hibon and Elliott Kalan to unveil a world-exclusive behind-the-scenes look at their Ghostbusters creation before its release next year, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation.
After manually scouring the 2006 Annecy Film Festival programme, I was happy to discover an event specifically for Ghostbusters: Night Shift.
It looks like the team behind Ghostbusters: Night Shift, Jason Reitman, Gil Kenan, Elliott Kalan and Ben Hibon — who were present during the Ghostbusters: Night Shift Unveiling at the 2026 NYC Ghostbusters Event — will be taking place in a signing on Wednesday, June 24.
The signing event will take place at Forum - Bonlieu in Annecy, France at 3:30pm local time and will last an hour. The Ghostbusters: Night Shift signing event page states that the event is open to all. At first, I assumed you had to be registered to attend the Annecy Film Festival, but most other events specifically state that you must be a badgeholder to attend. If I were a ghosthead living near Annecy, France and were free on Wednesday, June 24th at 3:30PM, I would absolutely try to attend.
If you just clicked through to the Anncey page and saw a 3D screen shot of a human and alien drinking whiskey, fear not. For some reason the Annecy folks put an image of the Netflix animated film Ray Gunn as the hero image of the page, most likely because they published it before the Ghostbusters: Night Shift logo was unveiled. When I first stumbled upon this page, I thought I had a bigger story, but a quick reverse image search set me straight. Perhaps, one day, Sony Pictures Animation will entertain a Ghostbusters / Men in Black crossover.
