Yup, it's official. The American Film Institute has proclaimed Ghostbusters as 28th out of the 100 funniest films in film history. The ranking, based on votes cast by a selection of film industry luminaries contrasts greatly to public voting (which has no bearing on the final rank) which placed Ghostbusters at 12th.
Harold Ramis made an appearance during the special to talk about Caddyshack (which he wrote and directed). Bustin' was never far away, as a GB2 poster featured on the wall behind him.
