As a kid I was always fascinated by miniatures -- I still am I guess. I never played with dolls, but doll houses were these amazing, tiny little worlds. Every once and awhile I stumble upon something that brings back that warm, fuzzy feeling of being a kid again. I'm this case it's a 12 inch action figure of Ray. Made by Arron Mack, the doll has an amazing amount of detail. Most of this detail is in the uniform and especially in the equipment. It boggles the mind to think that Arron made a walkie-talkie that small, but he did.
You can check out pictures of Arron's figure here, but I should warn you that the images are sizable and the server connection slow.
Arron isn't the only person working on a 12 inch GB Joe. As reported here before The Star Collector is also working on a figure. Thanks to GBHQ for the find. It made my day.
