Ectodude's Flightsuit
Built By: Ectodude
Here is my version of my Flightsuit. It's an offical Nomex Flightsuit, which I got for a song. I am to notice the color of the suit, belt, and hose. Trust me when I say this... It was the best I could come up with.
As for the knee pads: I used carpenter's knee pads I got from my local hardware store. They work. They're two-tone.
I made the little belt circuit out of an old 28.8k modem my dad had laying in a box under my desk in my room. The little bulb thingies are flashbulbs my grandma had laying around. The poutch itself is actully made out of matboard. It was the best thing I had for the time being.
My radio holder is an old cellphone/traveler's wallet my mom used. She threw it out because the Velcro didn't work anymore. I pulled it out (it was sitting on top of some boxes) fixed the Velcro, and decided to use it for the radio. It works.
The hose connection on the leg is part of the feed through tube i got for my proton gun's tip. I looked at it, and figured I could use it for the hose. I took the rubber peice that was on top, and flipped it underneath. If I need to wash the suit, I can just take the hose off, and throw it in.
Thank you for reading my discription of my Flightsuit. If you're reading this paragraph, you just wasted your time.
