Killackee's Bio: Born on a Tuesday, the first of April in the Year of our Lord Nineteen Hundred And Eighty, I'm a hardcore fan of Ghostbusters since the Real Ghostbusters series were on Dutch television. I'm a fifth year student of English Language and Culture at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, currently on exchange in Scotland at the University of Glasgow, writing my honours dissertation on the epic poem "The Bruce" by John Barbour. I have this strong belief that Ghostbusters was one of the best popular culture items of the eighties. Long live the eighties! Main interests: Ghostbusters (of course), Celtic language and culture (esp. music), Scottish history, Phonetics/Phonology, Morphology & Syntax, and the Klingon language from StarTrek. Languages: Dutch, Frisian, Bildts, English, with limited knowledge of French of German. I'm learning Gaelic at the moment.
The name Killakee is derived from a ghostly phenomenon that really happened in Ireland: the Black Cat of Killakee. I love cats and I like Ireland, and I like Ghostbusters. So why not?
