Guardian: n 1. A male or female wearing the symbol of the Order of the Frysta Guardians. 2. A title/position of nobility within the Frysta Guardians, often at the same level and used interchangeably with the title Knight. It connotes both othes of loyalty to the knight’s liege-lord and a responsibility to the peasants that the Knight has been placed in charge of. The title Guardian/Knight is often passed from one generation to the next via demonstrated ability. 3. A term used to denote that an object or individual is elite, superior, or the best. 4. To refer to something or someone as strong, powerful, or able to wield enormous power.

The definition of a Guardian is really much more than the dictionary states. A Guardian is the flesh and blood, lust and logic, skill and good fortune. They are men and women who, via their talents and their courage, become the literal knights in shining armor that children’s myths are made of. Their adventures are the stuff of legends and ballads, their conquests events that we rejoice in, and their inevitable deaths occasions for our sorrow. Now in our darkest hour, we rely more than ever on those who wield terrible power, those who uphold the Order, the Guardians.
