Tip For: Proton Pack

Since LED's can add up to be rather expensive, a nice alternative is using Christmas lights. Take a string of old, broken Christmas lights... take the colors you want and soulder them together. You can also attach them to a breadboard. Connecting two 1.5V batteries together (to make 3V) should be enough to light them up.

sounds like a great idea, but can you make them light up in sequence like in the movies? do you suggest blue xmas lights or white? since there's blue on the plexiglass to begin with (with norm's plans). sounds good though, i'll experiment with this.
