Lightning Lane, the JL price guide, puts the metallic editions of the car at between $292 and $325US.
The got super collectible shortly after they were released and they're only getting more collectible.

Well, seeing as I paid two dollars (CDN!!!) a little over a month ago for the same one, I kind of assumed that they weren't worth that much. And I bought mine from toy car collector!

over paid??? thats up to the buyer what is anything worth =as much as someone will pay!! this is my 2nd ser.#2 ecto in W/L=white lightning I have all 3 and now extra all 3 of the diff. ser# in W/L there are only 200 of each car in W/L=white lightning as compared to "hot wheels Treas-hunt like the 1995 67 Camaro 1 of 10,000 that goes for $300-$350++ and is not even #'ed like the W/L's 1 of 200 yes only 200 world wide i have had offers for my ser.#2 Ecto in W/L
for as much as $450.00 so over paid= in my eyes no great deal "nuff said"
