IMDb screwed up "The Real Ghostbusters" entry, too!

As if it wasn't bad enough that they've botched up our all-time favorite movie's title...now they have "The Real Ghostbusters" listed as "The Real Ghost Busters."
What a bunch of tards.

Same on Fanfiction.net, in fact, many references I found were Ghost Busters, Filmation is dogging us man!

Hmmmm, for some reason, Ghostbusters 2 and the Extreme Ghostbusters have their titles normal, I don't get why they have Ghostbusters and the Real Ghostbusters as Ghost Busters.

Maybe in Ghostbusters and RGB it was put like this;
example
The Real
Ghost
Busters
Ghost
Busters
Cause in the movie it the word "ghost" was up and "Busters" were under it. Same for RGB.
Well that's what I think.

Castewar should submit the correction about J. Edgar Hoover that he mentioned. He didn't appear, because Peter just thought of him and mentioned him. He didn't "choose" him, he merely thought of him. However, Ray did indeed think of, and chose Mr. Stay-Puft!
Another thing that bothers me about RGB's entry on the IMDB, is that they aren't refered to as Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Ray (Or Raymond.) Stantz, and Dr. Egon Spengler. They don't include the "Dr." part, but they do in the Movie's entries (Which were how they appeared in the Credits.). Yet on RGB, they're still Scientists, with Doctorates. And there are many times where they were refered to as Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Raymond Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler (And even Winston was referred to as a "Dr." one time. Of course, it was just a joke Peter played on Cyrus Spengler to impress him. I think.  ).

They don’t just call them The Real Ghostbusters for no reason! Take a look at Take Two, Citizen Ghost, The Ghostbusters Omnibus Timeline, THE GHOSTBUSTERS FACT LIST, and RGB Truly Canon with the Movies?, and you’ll see why!

Yep, I noticed that about the RGB entries, as for the GB entry, I didn't notice anything about Edger Hoover though.
And yes, the IMDB is a good site, its just that this Filmation Ghost buster thing has made a mess of Columbia's Ghostbusters.

That doesn't make the title "G H O S T B U S T E R S" and "Ghost Busters" is just plain wrong. Look at the end credits, the script, the poster, the DVD, the video, the books, the parephenilia.
This is a MOVIE site, devoted to movie information, and they can't even get the title right of one of the highest-grossing and most-beloved films of all time?
That sucks!

So, if they're going off the title cards, the are not spelled incorrectly. Jeez, how come no one gets on Ivan's case for spelling the name wrong in the movie?

At some point, you gotta use common sense. I think the fact that "Ghostbusters" makes for a hard fit in a frame wouldn't take precedence over every other piece of literature out there. Namely, the closing credits, the posters, the scripts, the books, the official trademark, the website, the hat, etc.
And Ivan Reitman didn't do shit with the title. Whoever did the "Title Design" did. So does that mean that "Ghostbusters II" is a wrong title, and IMDb should actually have the Ghostbusters II logo as the title? After all, that's the only thing that shows up in the beginning of the movie. Maybe I'll have to correct them on that.
