I just registered today, and I thought I'd introduce myself. My real name is Emily, and I'm 16 years old. I live in a southern suburb of Chicago. (Bill Murray is from a town north of Chicago, about an hour and a half away from me.) My screen name comes from Animal House, Bluto Blutarsky is John Belushi's character. My avitar is a picture of John Belushi as Jake Blues. I'm a very big Belushi fan, and a big Aykroyd fan as well. (Obviously I'm also a Ghostbusters fan as well.) Bill Murray is awesome too; I love pretty much anybody who was on the original SNL cast, a.k.a. The Not Ready For Prime Time Players.
Anyway, I've got a question. I was watching Ghostbusters last night on tv (I don't own it, I feel so ashamed  lol.). Each time I see the movie, I always want to look up the Bible passage that Ray quotes when he's in the car with Winston, but I always forget what chapter of Revelations it is. Anyway, last night I remembered that Ray said it was 7:12. So after the movie was over, I checked my Bible, and Rev. 7:12 was different than what Ray had said. Does anyone know if he said the wrong chapter (I know it's probably in Revelations if it's about the end of the world) or does the line simply not exist? I think it probably does because before Dan Aykroyd became an actor, he was studying to become a Catholic priest of the Jesuit order.

The actual chapter was Revelations 6:12 I believe.

Sho'nuff!
I'm not sure he just blurbed it out without thinking, or intended on it. I would think that if he meant to make the mistake, it would be to make an inside joke or refrence dealing with how many people didn't pay attention to "their study". If I'm not Mistaken, which I could be, He was resiting Rev. 6:12

Oh, and with the translations thing, I assume my Bible will have the same quote, seeing as how Dan aykroyd is Catholic and I am too.
Don't worry, I'll be careful with the Proton Pack. *Blows up computer* Oh crap. Well, I'll try to be careful with the traps, hopefully I won't let anything loose.

PS- The entire passage is in Revelations 6:12, I've checked many times. But I have a new bible so older translations might have different sayings, as said before.

In my Bible it's 6:12, the quote's a little bit different though, but it basically says the same thing. Then again, my Bible is kinda new, I'll have to see if we have an older one around my house.

How odd... Wait! Silly me, it IS 6:12, but guess what, at the top of the page it says Revelations 7! Basically because 7 starts at the bottom... OK So it's late, and I'm tired...
