Brian has asked me to lt you know about some (very) recent problems we've been having with The Unofficial Ghostbusters Download Center, since he's being swamped with emails about it.
Here are the issues:
-The MP3s page appears to be permanently down. Apparently it is considered piracy by Angelfire.
-Cyberturf is flaky. It went down again yesterday, but is back up now. We are working on a mirror site, but it is going to be a sloooow process, as we have to reupload a few hundred megs worth of files.
-We overspent our entire month's bandwidth this morning on the Angelfire account. After the server went down yesterday, over two hundred users flooded the site this morning, causing the server to block traffic from roughly 3pm to 5pm. Not a pretty sight.
All this after a brand-spanking new site redisgn as well. In any case, while we're working on the mirror, you may wish to check out the site at this new address for a junction site which will point you to both the original site and the "in progress" mirror site. Oh and don't worry. Once the mirror is complete, you will be automatically pointed to the junction site when you visit www.ghostbusters.tk/.
