Belushi was also supposedly going to be a part of the Ghostbusters movie, in the part played by Ernie Hudson.

Nooooo u got that wrong yes John was post to be in Ghostbusters but not the Ernie Hudson character. John was post to play Bill's part then sadly he died of a drug over dose, So Dan ofer it to Richard Pyor but Richard said no so it was ofer to Bill and said yes. Eddie Murphy was offer the role of Winston but he turn it down. And as the old saying "the rest is history"
