Speaking of revival eh?
I was looking around on DVDToons.com and I found this:

Its a preview for Strawberry Shortcake (The page popped up when I searched for "Ghostbusters"). It talks about the big "80s" revival and mentions many of the greats including Real Ghostbusters
I also found THIS in the same search

It also talks about the "80s Revival" and mentions DIC and bringing RGB to DVD. It apears that my question has been answered on the DIC thing. LionGate Films (House of 1000 Corpses, Super Mario Brothers Super Show...) is part of DiC, Or vise versa.

Good find DL, definitely good news that Lions Gate has jurisdiction over the release, the only problem is that CTHV will also still have distribution rights most likely that Lions Gate will have to buy off of the studio.
LG is notorious for picking up things that other studios don't want and making them shine (look at how they picked up Dogma after Disney owned Miramax kicked it to the curb). And speaking of Dogma, their home video relations must be pretty good after that sweet little 2-disc special edition that CTHV released of Dogma.
Fingers are crossed. But I can't stress how important it is that letter writing continues, especially now that we have another target.

Yea Net, The only thing I do fear is the way that the Super Mario Brothers, inspector Gadget and Sonic DVDs were packaged. Kinda scary.

WOW! I really really hope so. I really love to watch RGB on my screen instead of infront of the computer seeing it on Real player.

we can only hope this can come true...sure hope it does...i've seen some pretty lame cartoons come out on dvd...RGBs are far better and deserve to released.

Everyone should keep in mind that if they ever are released on DVD, it likely won't be comprehensive. Cartoons are designed to target kids and their parents, so they will never cost more than $20, which in turn means that the discs rarely hold more than a handful of episodes.
I point to the Scooby-Doo DVDs and Batman Animated Series DVDs as an example - excellent quality, just not a lot of episodes on a single DVD.
If everyone wanted to send a message to the studios, I'd recommend going to TVShowsonDVD.com, where you can provide information about what TV shows you'd like to see on DVD and what you'd be willing to pay for (best-of sets, season sets, etc.)
Various studios have started to take notice and have been taking the site and the info it provides into account when deciding what and how to release shows.

Castewar's got a point. Studios definitely do notice it. In fact, it's one of the main reasons that the Ben Stiller Show is coming to a video store near you, Sony/CTTV posted a poll on their website, monitored it and when the results came through they knew that there would be demand for it, so they approved. So let's show 'em the demand for RGB is there!

I love DVDtoons.com. They'll recieve word if and when it is coming really early. I know because I work for them. MFN is on the same server as DVDtoons.com
