Iloveecto1, thats not true the movie started in November notice the calender in Dana's apartment clearly says November, but since the wreath was already up in the TV studio im guessing this was within the last weeks of November...but u know how early people like to put up Christmas decorations so u never now how early in Novemeber the movie actually takes place

Hmmm...Yes it doesn't often snow in December in New York, or even Southern Canada!

I can't say I'm bothered about the snow-no show. What really bugs me about the logo for GB2 is why the ghost's leg was removed from promotional stuff and left in the title animation. I still think it looks a bit odd having a one-legged ghost with a pot-belly.
Then again, maybe it's a pirate ghost. Arrr jim-lad. Or then again, maybe that's the damn silliest thing anyone ever came up with. Sorry.

the GBII logo was def just a promotional thing for the movie-something new to put on posters, lunchboxes and t-shirts.
But I like the theories that "in the world of the movie" peter ray egon and winston used it as a symbol to signify peace of thier "2nd coming". I never really gave it much thought before-just wrote it off as the producer's scheme to make money-but those ideas work.

just b/c it didn't snow on xmas day for 33 years doesn't mean NYC doesn't get a regular snow.

Oh my god... It shows that New York City doesn't always have snow on the ground around Christmas time! IE when GB2 took place...

Actually, I always thought the one-legged ghost was a no-legged ghost. I figured that was his tail. Of course, I've often wondered why a tail would have an ankle.

The ghostbusters 2 logo is ok it does say it's the second film but in the " rise of status" the new sign been put up by the man in the cerry picker is well not correct the logo will be the same would it ? The film is ok i guesss but you have the right to say it's . The film was ok but its too long since the first and it was a attemptive last go of the film . jeenean
( speling is crap sorry ) has gone mad with the hair !! is this a comicail thing or what? The film has no rememable bits ( well the statue of lib.) so anyway as i...#shouting# :"We've got one !!!!!..It's a call.........fjpeu jg..( down the pole )

both films really had different no ghost logos than were seen on the uniform patches, ectos, and firehouse. the no ghost logo on the title screen of the first film i thought actually looked better.
stayin- what's with all the negativity? maybe you need to re-read the rules on GBN. just because GB2 had no snow, and you found some little article on the internet saying that NYC hasn't had a snow on xmas in 33 years, DOESN'T mean NYC remains snow free during the winter months. keep in mind xmas is only one day out of the whole freakin season.

Your missing the point... It's some small article that proves a fact that I already stated and was "pounced" upon... Also first day of winter is December 21st is it not? GB2 takes place in November/December... No snow on the ground isn't a big deal... Do you not understand this?

ok then riddle me this..... how come the ecto charger pack, and if i am not mistaken the ecto 1-a toys had the 2 finger logo? i know the charger pack was based off the movie but why put the logo on rbg toys?

Because the Ecto-1A toy was based on the movie as well! We never saw the Ecto-1A in the cartoon.
