I need help on theGB II pc game

Im having troubles in the statue of liberty pat in the GB 2 pc game, I have 3 slime samples, I already know how to control the statue of liberty, but the level never ends, what im doing wrong?

i have played that game so many times. and thats how far i ever reach. and all the game faqs all lead up to there. No one i know of has got past that. i had that game for sooo long and i think it's impossible. i just keep ending up on the same street going no where. Try searching some FAQ websites that could have it. or look on google or yahoo and search something.

i hate that game , i can't catch any ghosts , once i caught a scoleri brother , but by the time i almost had the other the first one got out of the trap (how do they get back out of the trap ? ) i can do everything else , but i can't catch any ghosts , for somereason it just won't let me , i'll hit em a few times , and by the time i hit them the next time (half a second later ) they're health meter is all the way back up .god i hate that game !!!!!

Argh! I remember endlessly trying to pass that part of the game then ending up having to start all over again...and again! Im not sure if there is a way past it? I did remember seeing some screenshots from the game that showed the final fight with Vigo in the museum - it was basically like the the beginning bust of the Scoleris brothers, but your GB is armed with a slime blower...Vigo looked pretty cool in all his pixelated glory 
On a more random note - I'd love to get a MIDI of that tune that plays when you try to break into Parkview and rescue the boys...haha its so damn catchy

Well it's about friggin time!
Finally, a post I can help with. Here's the deal, the reason the Statue of Liberty level "never ends" is because you're supposed to figure out what street you're on, and then move towards the musuem. Once you get there, you're set. I got the game back when the movie came out but I could never get it to work. Years later, I reinstalled it and a friend of mine helped me figure everything out. Now, I can catch all the ghosts, get all the slime samples and bust Viggie's tuckus!

And Venkmangb1: GB 2 for PC is one of the best GB games.

Ghostbusters 2 IBM PC Version
I got it from Ecto-Web. It's a pretty decent game and is as close to the movie as you can get I think and features critical scenes in GB2 even Parkview. You get to choose what you want to do. Pretty fun overall. I recommend trying it if you never have! Though it could be better in some areas, it is really one of the best, in my opinion. You get to bust the Scoleris, nuff said!

whats the street u supposed to take?
the signs r always different.
How do u turn the statue to different streets then? or just at the begining?
do i go north, west, east, or south?
what u said sorta made sense....
plz help.

It's also on my site, The Unofficial Ghostbusters Download Center. Head over to the ROMs section and look for the one for IBM PC. You won't need an emulator, unless of course you're on a Mac.

Hey, I had this game for so long. I have the instruction manual that came with te game, and it had a map of the statue of liberty part on it. I could make it on paint if u guys want me to so u can beat vigo. I actually got up to him and beat him.

i don't think the game sucks , i just hate it because it won't work right for me , it won't let me catch the ghosts , not that i can't catch the ghosts , it won't let me , maybe it's running too fast on my computer or something , but before i have a chance to hit the ghosts again his health is all the way back up ....i'll give an example
i shoot the ghost , half a second goes by , i hit him again , his health is all the way back up , for some reason on my computer it's impossible, and it's really getting me angry

VenkmanGB1A, you're computer is too fast! Running the game emulated on Mac is too fast as well. I have to use my doorstop-I mean Pentium 133-to run it.
