I'm very flattered by your idea, Matthew, but Janine already has a love interest: his name is Egon. I kinda have one too, a real life woman (who actually reminds me of Janine in ways) but any more is better left unsaid...
I see what Dr.V is saying, and have some level of agreement--I just never found myself fantasizing about "getting it on with a cartoon babe" myself, instead going "I wanna see them get it on with the right male character in the show". In Janine's case, that is definitely Egon: the thought of her with Louis or anyone else is what makes ME puke.
But I don't hold fantasizing about cartoon characters against anyone either--it's not all that far off from people fantasizing about characters in art or literature that are clearly meant to be fantasized about.

I know a man named Eduardo (real guy) who has a thing for both Kylie and Janine from the animated series, whose 37 or 38 by now, who works as a jr.VP, in a corp. manufacturing floppy discs  . Personally I think that's damn strange  . We blame his wife Junita's death for this Janine/Kylie thing  .

Actually no he's Clara Hamilton's(in my upcoming FF). But since her character is someone patterned after me, technically he's still mine. Janine will have to fight me. And I can kick her skinny butt any day of the week!

Hey Egons Babe - I'll read your ff, sounds like it might be pretty interesting.  Like I said later on in the animated series they tweaked K & J so both girls didn't seem to have a thing for Egon, guess so the lady Busters could be friends. Frankly I think they should have left them alone, once something is done it can NOT be easily undone. Backstabbing in a subtel way between K & J for Egons affection would have been an interesting subplot. Anyone who wants to see how this works needs only tune in to an ep of The Bachelor series, where women compete for the heart and billions of Andrew Firestone.

Hey Vee, you mentioned somewhere that the Janine from GB2 was made into a desparate slut. Well, as much as I really hate to say this, I think the Janine from RGB season 1 is the desparate slut. I'm glad they changed her character traits, not to mention that helium voice by season 2. But that's just my opinion, please don't take it seriously.
Dr.V, you mentioned that liking a cartoon character is taking fandom waaaaaay to seriously. What about those guys who like Lara Croft? She's also a cartoon character from a video game, right? Also you have to understand that I was a kid when I first liked Egon. And as he was my first hero that I worshipped, sometimes the flame never dies, it just dims but it still burns.

Egons Babe - Frankly, I think you're safer with a cartoon lover, than the real thing . As far as that goes, I think Peter from the animated series is hot  . Fantasy is healthy and fantasy lovers never ruin your expectations.

Peter and Janine? Now thats just crazy  lol i always thought Janine and Egon should be together. But Peter is mine lol.
People are always telling me I look like Janine. I do have red hair, glasses and blue eyes. But I never thought I looked like Janine until my friend Katie said that then I gave a few peeps on GB net my pic and they all say I look like Janine. Unfortunatly my mom mad me take my pic off GB net poopy i cant wait until i move out and become the secretary for the Ghostbusters LOL
