I actually like them. They have a ton of cargo room and they do it without looking like a minivan. What's not to like?

No and that's a totally retarded accusation. Do you think School Busses or Diesel Trucks etc. support terrorism. Guzzle more gas. What do you think?

Basically I would say not a chance , since I do lie a S.U.V. because a friend of mine has one and they are great driving vehicles.

Ah, dozens of people ride on Buses and such so it saves alot more gas compared to all of the people that take those buses driving seperately in cars....

For me, owning an SUV is OK if you need the space. My family has one and we always fill it up with stuff or drive people to the airport or use it to haul materials for the family business. What I don't like is people owning SUV's, not because they need that kind of auto, but because its "cool" to have an SUV.
PS: We have a Yukon XL (one of the biggest) and I HATE driving it, if only cause I don't know where the rear end stops.

Well we have an Explorer sport with 2 doors and seating for 4... Now isn't that one of the most not for carrying people/not for carrying cargo/not for doing whatever (except maybe going off-road) things you've ever heard of in an SUV... Gets 17 mpg too I think  And damnnation it's not up to us to lead, it's up to the government so let's get their asses in gear into speeding up the introduction of more hybrids/fuel cells into the market before we give up our beloved utes...

they don't support terrorism , i bet anyone a full tank of gas that any one of my muscle cars drank more gas than any of the suv's out there .but suv's do suck , they were designed for off road , then they turned into road vehicles . they are todays match for the wood paneled station wagons of the 70's , they're ugly , they're annoying , and they couldn't go off road if they had to . i dunno about you , but the last time i wanted to take something off road i wasn't worrying about if my truck had a dvd player and heated leather seats to keep my ass warm . but i guess it's the new style , and alot of douchebags like it , i guess i'm just not lame enough to be one of those trendy douchebags . oh well . but no , untill i see some low rider suv's with murals of osamma painted on the hood exploding outside of the white house then i'm going to have to say they don't support terrorism ...even tho some of the owners of them drive like terrorists

If your actually using a SUV for offroading or for use that you cant use a regular car for even though most cars will work anyways, at least if you get the right ones. But whats ludicrous is seeing fricking people drive around like Soccer Moms driving Hummers. Its just insane. They are driving Hummers to like Target and the grocery store. They should be sterilized and we should harvest their energy like in the matrix. Haha I kid...Sortve
