I find the slander being posted latley about how "certian members" are trying to tear the community apart. I have found no one bent on destroying the community. The only thing people are actually fully heartedly against is Chad and/or this website(which is not the community its a website part of it, its failing wouldnt ruin the community); all due to their own and reasonable reasons. So far has no one said "I hate Chad because he mean", or anything stupid like that. (important part read before you post!)A good chunck of people are actually coming up with ideas on how to re-join the COMMUNITY.

Spooky you say there are no certain Ghostheads trying to tear this communtiy apart, well wait for a day and how the replys to this topic comes out it will all end up people verbal bullying other people and stuff like that, also i can bet Chad's name will be mentioned in a reply to this topic and Ghostheads going aginst him once again, theres too many post's like this its just repeated history, and it gets boring.
I suggest a mod LOCKS this topic before it gets out of hand

i agree that no one is inteitnal trying to destory the communty and that gb net is not the communty its just one birck that makes up the community. but i dont agree wtih " So far has no one said "I hate Chad because he mean", or anything stupid like that." sure there not saying they hate him becuz hes mean....no tehre saying they ahte him cuz his website...yea thats alot better...not stupid at all. all in all it would make mroe sense if they hated chad cuz they got to know him.

SG1 saw the point, if I get through to one its a good thing. When stated about about people not liking Chad I did mean most people dont like him because they have talked to him and decided that way. Sure there are people that dont like the website and despise Chad for just that, which I find a little of a wrong reason; but everyone is diffrent. But lets stay away from the why people hate chad topic everyone has heard too much of that since GB Homepage.

I believe that the most serious of people are pure and simply stirring up a rumour to scare all the idiotic fools!

Peter, no one is trying to tear the community apart. We are all just trying to get more of the community together. GBN only represents a portion of the ccommunity, that's why I started a true community board. In fact, over on Nightsquad right now, there are people working on trying to get a true community site up.

That's exactly my point, Brian.
No one is trying to tear the community apart, but some people are trying to scare other people into thinking the community is being torn apart.

theres a few things that tear a community apart, well one really, and thats the bashing of other sites, waht that does is starts arguments and ppl feel they need to take sides, and then u got the ppl that say there nutrel but tehre really for one side,
me im glad that brain started the community board, me i dont agree with some of the rules, but oncel cuz i can rember bacc to bills board when it was like that, but se i dont agree with somethigns so i just dont go, insted of starting troble.
as for the community site the ppl are wroking on ill prob vist that. although i dont agree with the use of the word "ture" in the board and site. its kinda like saying that ur site is the community which i think we all well assabisled now one site does not make up the community.

RJ I agree totally man. The bashing of other sites tears the community apart. And I didn't like it a little while ago, not naming any names (mostly cause I don't remember who), when people were trashing GBN because it rips off every other site. They said something like "GBN has fanfics, big deal. There are way better Fanfic sites out there. Same with props, and same with message boards." But the thing is, is that GBN is, in its purest form, a "general GB site". I see it as a sampler of props, fanfics, links, boards, etc. It goes for quantity rather than quality. Some people just don't see that.
By the way, Spooky, good thread.
