New Superman Movie

Now that Brett Ratner is not directing the new Superman film, they say that Mcg may come back to helm the film. I don't know if I want to see it if they use JJ Abrams script. I read a review about it and I didn't like it very much. My choice to write and direct a new Superman movie is M. Night Shyamalan.I know that this probably won't happen, but if you guys have seen "Unbreakable", you know that he would treat the film with respect.In an interview I read,he even says that Bruce Willis's character was inspired by Superman.

Of course he was. Notice all the Supes references in the movie.
Water was his Kyrptonite
He really was a man of Steel
It would be awesome to se M. Knight take a turn at it. But he mostly does suspense and thriller films. Ie, Sixth Sense and Signs.

In an interview I have M. Knight even says that his favorite comic based film is the original Richard Donner directed Superman that starred Christopher Reeve! I wish Warner Bros. would wise up and let someone who respects the legacy of Superman helm this picture. M. Knight is the perfect choice.

I wish Kevin Smith would get another shot at the script, and asked to direct as well. If there's anyone in show biz that knows comics, it's him.

I think Sam Raimi should do Supes. He loves the character, he broke the bank with Spidey...I say he's the best choice for a part 5, and the perfect choice for a remake if that's where they go.

I just hope it is not Frakes. I mean, I respect him as an actor, and as a television director. But his film work as a director, aside from Star Trek: First Contact, hasn't been that good.

um yea.... unless you have been under a rock for the last few years you would know that Christopher Reeves is in a wheel chair and will be untill the day he dies. I have also heard that the new Superman movie will also be a Batman movie as well..... wwwwhhhhaaaattttsss uuuupppp wit dat?

why do people prove they have no grey matter and say they want the original guys for prequels? and even bitch and moan about having someone thats paralyzed reprise his role? or bitch and moan about a person who's too damn old to reprise their role?
reeve if not paralyzed would be like adam west playing batman in 89. LAME.

I read in Wizard Magazine that Jonathan Frakes is the #1 choice to helm Superman now, they have been wrong before however, If that wasn't enough get this, apparently Hulk Hogan was apparoached to Play a Krptonian Bab guy, no offense to Hulk but I can;t see him as a serious bad guy

ghostfreak the new superman was supposed to be superman vs batman. but it never took off, its still in the works but wont be the next superman movie. as for christopher reeves he is supposed to have a cameo in the new movie
