you have no idea how lost i am on this subject..i never know whats going on, i try to steer away. all i know is people dont like my pics, there will be new mods and doc riddle has some of the worst choice i have ever seen...and eveyrone is mooching off of my dream reality story

just like some of the others i haven't been here that long. What brought me here? Love for the ghostbusters. I feel that free speech is very important, but recently i've been appalled. All of the so called "chad bashing" quotes really get me ticked off. Don't get me wrong, i'm not taking anyone's side i am just saying this, "whether or not all of these accusations towards Chad are true doesn't matter, either way those who keep making them are hurting the comunity just as much as Chad may or may not be. This isn't the United Nations it is a website. i feel that this is an excelent site. The reason i keep coming back is the fact that it is a great site. I've gone to other sites but i come back here because i like it better not that because i'm being controlled.
i just ask that we share our opinions in a positive constructive way sans accusations and foul language.
If we continue on this path i am afraid that it could lead to a "civil war" within the comunity. If that happens no one will win. This community wouldn't be able to survive and it would disapear.
I for one dont want to see that happen, do you? if not then start taking the appropriate steps. Otherwise its not to hard to visit another site

Brian Reilly made a good point at the beginning of this thread, free speech is important, i also agree with those who say this is just a website, mind you there are times that this website has given me great people to talk to about anything let alone what this site was intended for, Ghostbusters.
having been here for a long while, i have seen many things like this happen, and the same things have happened, it blew over.
i do care about this site, i have made cards for this site and passed them out at my local comic shop last halloween.
enough of my rant, i am leaving this subject alone now.

Okay okay, let me get this straight:
You want not just ONE, but ALL of us to be recognized for the participation of the gb community?? We should change the community for the better of GB and make it stronger?? I agree. Oh, and the part about how mods should be able to ban people, bad idea. what if a mod has a problem with one gb member and bans him/her for the wrong reason? too many questions. And we should make a free public community board linked to other gb sites for recognition to other ghostheads?? Yeah, I agree it should be done. But I also agree that it sholdnt bet this site, the boards are privately owned. Thats like going over to your neighbor's yard whose a star wars fan and has weekly meetings for his "fan club" and one star wars fan yelling at the others to voice they're opinions about HIS club. But I like the idea.

I believe thatv all these problems can work themselves out. However,GBN and everything site is a part of the GB community and there isn't a shout of a doubt that this ol' Southern Gentleman is a pathetic embarassmebnt of the GBN website nor GB Community. I , myself care about this and the community. But I can't stand everything minute when there's troublemaker's and other sites trying to put each other down, usually I don't let my opinions be heard, because I have nothing intelligant to say on the other hand. I have been hear a year and have meet soe good member and had some runs with bad members, aswell. All I can say is that all we can do is trying to get along and don't care who likes who and what not, just attempt to come here and attempt to post about Ghostbusters and try to have other GB fan sites work together and get rid of all the trouble or trouble-makers.

Hopefully someone actually reads this post for once.
A. When I post opinions routinely they are out of peoples grasp or someone gets angry because they are not perfect.
B. I am extremely tired of these "ohh blah blah blah, these users are great: Zack, Master Spider, Lord Vego, River of Slime, blah blah crap"
stop making people feel like ohh you are far above everyone else becaues you post this and that diddly. Honestly. It gets really old, and yes Im pissed because I am never in these. Now honestly people what the hell are we supposed to do to be the perfect message board poster, tell me, but just stop complaining about everyone who sucks outside of Kingdom and the major pervs who we all want outta here.

I almost always let people know of my opinions. Maybe not all of the time, and maybe not 100% on these boards, but I try to make myself get heard. I'm actually a really opinionated person, contrary to what a lot of you may believe, but say if four people post a message saying "this member sucks", I don't feel that I'm obligated to post another saying he/she sucks.
And I don't think that people should ever feel that way.

I think the whole situation is so stupid. People make things on this site too important. If any of this dumb bullSHIT affects any of you in your real life, I feel sorry for you. Community? This is no community. This is just a a bunch of people with nothing better to do than to log onto this site. Communities make differances that affect REALITY! this is not reality. Stand up, turn around and take ten steps, THAT is reality. I personally don't give a rats ass what occurs in this so-called community. Just a bunch of people who supposedly like Ghostbusters. If the so-called community is in trouble it is all your own damn faults for letting it get that way. After all Community means the people, and guess what, you are the people(including Chad). Brian says we need to voice are opinions, well guess what? why do you think all this craptastic PILE is happening. Every single damn post on here is an opinion in some way shape or form. That is all we can do on here is post. I think there are to many people trying to be saviors out there, for a cause that is not even a cause. Get over it. It is just a site of ficticious people with plenty of opinions, too bad most are about each other, rather than Ghostbusters.
