brian, i have support u dude, dont get me wrong, i was banned also, but if we all had just 1 board. It would lead to more money on the server or whatever it does, basicly, it means more money it will cost the person who owns it. Now sayn if we all had one message board. The people should select mods for each group, but it would also lead to cliques.

But don't you see? We don't a super-expensive board. There are free boards that are just as good as GBN! With no one paying, everyone can have an equal stake!

oh ok, i see your point now. That would be nice, and a shame for the poor sap that ran free message boards, can u imagine if he woke up, and one of his free boards had 7,000+ members. It would cost him a great deal of greenbacks. Im up for a free board here, with all ghostheads equaly in charge, or equaly pissed.

Ok, I'm a little late to the party, but since the initial post encouraged us to voice our opinions, I shall do so now. Personally, I think it is just plain stupid the way some people are getting themselves so worked up over a form of entertainment that they participate in on the internet. I'm not saying the people are stupid, just what they're getting worked up over. I mean, really, at the end of the day, what difference does it make what goes on on here?

But that's why we need a community board sgb1! With a community board, there would be no more community exiles, unless someone truly deserved it. There would be no more factions or widespread vendettas.
Frankly I think a small assortment of cliques (which we already have here) is a small price to pay.

That is 100% true. It would lead to more bashing, flame wars, and bannings.
Of course I care about what goes on in the Ghostbusters Community. This Community is falling apart (At the most inconvienient time too, I might add. *Cough* Ghostbusters Revival. *Cough*). This problem needed to be addressed a good while back. There has been waaaaaaay too much bashing and flame wars going on the last couple of days (Or weeks.).
I for one, I'm not taking part in any of it. I'm not taking sides with anyone on this matter. I don't want to be known as or remembered as a Wannabe loyalist, a troublemaker, or a Member banned for stating my opinion. Let me remind all of you what brought us all together in the first place, by stating what I want to to be remembered as in this Community, and why I'm here:
I WANT TO BE KNOWN AS, AND REMEMBERED AS A GHOSTHEAD! A GHOSTBUSTERS FAN! A FAN WHO JOINED THIS COMMUNITY AND THIS SITE JUST TO HAVE FUN, AND TO MEET OTHER GHOSTHEADS! TO MAKE GHOSTHEAD FRIENDS! TO HELP OTHERS LEARN ABOUT AND DISCUSS GHOSTBUSTERS RELATED STUFF! NOT TO FLAME, NOT TO BASH, NOT TO HATE, AND NOT TO MAKE ENEMIES! I'M HERE AS A GHOSTHEAD! I'M JUST A GHOSTBUSTERS FAN HERE TO TALK GHOSTBUSTERS WITH FELLOW GHOSTHEADS!
That being said, I want all of you to ask yourselves the question: "Why am I here?". Are you here for the same reason listed above? Or are you here to try to ruin things for People like the above?
This is the Ghostbusters Community. A huge fanbase for Ghostbusters. That's why we're here. We're not here to fight. The fighting needs to stop. The main point is that we're here to have fun. And in order to have fun, we need to stop the hating. You don't have to flame to speak your opinion, and you don't have to bash others for theirs.
How will the problems be solved? Nobody's perfect, but I'm sure that if the disagreeing parties could sit down, put aside their personal grudges, and discuss things like Civilized Human Beings (And I KNOW all of them can. They're all really good people, if you get to know them.), and come to an agreement on what should be done, and how things should be handled, then I'm sure that there's a possible solution waiting to be found. And then we could vote.
We're here because WE ARE Ghostheads.

I dunno. I personally don't really have any problems with things how they are. I'll grant you that I have not been on here nearly as long as some, which could have some bearing on my opinion on the matter. I suppose I'll have to consider everything more from the various points of view. Then perhaps I'll see where everyone's coming from on this. I dunno.

SO EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THAT DOC RYEDALE POSTS HIS OPINION!
But we're past that now Doc. We're trying to get a true community board going. Where every major GB site has an equal stake. And those same sites all link to the board!

Why am I never mentioned on anyone's lists?
Anyway, pissing and moaning won't get you anywhere, I learned that the first time I was banned. The way you're acting, you're well on your way to getting banned again, maybe permanently. Just clam up and treat the boards like what they are. A message board.
If you hate this board and it's regulations so much, then leave. Your complaints won't be missed by those who stay.
And, to all of you:
STOP TAKING A GHOSTBUSTERS WEBSITE SO SERIOUSLY.
