Hulk, Im already disapointed

and I dint even saw the movie. From some preview, he look way too gentle. Was hoping for a body full of nerves! A angered scary face! But what dispoint me most is the line from DrBanner. Man, he said he like it when he lose control! Was hoping for a man to fight for his human side. But like I said, I dint saw the movie.

Ang Lee is most likely trying to show the painful human side of the Hulk so critics won't attack him for just making a movie where all Hulk does is smash.

Ang Lee is the only reason I'd want to see this movie, because all it looks like is the Hulk smashing things. With Ang Lee as a director, I hope there's much more to it than that.

They wanted to show Hulk's human side? Are they joking? They already did that in the 80s! Some exemple: Banner is beated by a guy and disapear under a car. Now come Hulk, all angry, ready to smash everything but... see a baby, alone, in a pram. Hulk feel all sweet, he almost smile, and give the baby to the mother before leaving. What a joke!
Banner is beated by a guy (again) before been locked in a fridge. The guy become afraid now when he see the green guy coming out. Hulk is mad, mad, maaaaaaaad... but the guy hit is head and fall unconsious! Hulk's all fresh in adrenaline. A juckbox interest him. After shaking it, a melody start. The green guy sit and become white! How bout that for human ears? Riduculous!
It was good in the 80. The one who played Banner was great. You could see someone with culture, valor, on his face. It was terrible to see him in pain as he understand its goin to appen again and cant do nothing about it now that the thing start. The guy who played Hulk was incredible... its just sad it was a family series. Now Banner say he like it when he lose control? Ouch! Its scary!
I must admit. Hulk, to my eyes, is a monster that cant speak but scream. A walking adrenalined beast that only disapear when the environment offer nothing more than crushed things. Its my ideal. I know what Hulk is. Its just I dont beleive it was the original concept of the character. Did Marvel puted some brain in the green guy to make him have some humanity and be acceptable for the time he was born?
I readed some comicbook in the past. I think the best story I had is when Banner appear from Hulk's chest and try to kill himself. But its also a weird story that confuse the character's identity. I thought on the start Banner was one simple person having some bioproblem connected to his stressfactor after the explosion. But in fact its almost a symbiose when you think about it. Two individual in one fighting for their supremacy. Its interesting but I think Marvel had some fan that were loosing their interest in the comic; they needed to put some new idea in the series. Maybe thats where the Venom/Carnage project idea came from?
All to say that the movie will not be what I wanted it to be.

O-kaaayyyy....
Listen, before you judge the movie or even the full-length trailers, read the book. It's written by Peter David, best known for his runs on, well, "The Hulk." Once you read the book, you get a feel of the psychological perspective that Ang Lee has, and you understand WHY Bruce likes it when he, shal we say, Hulks-out. Okay, fine, it reveals a lot of spoilers, but it's worth it. Spend the eight bucks so you can get the inside scoop on Banner and Co.

actually instead of spendin 8 bucks to read the movie before you see it you could read interviews with ang lee, and exactly like you said he wasnt trying to create the normal super hero movie and more like a psycological thriller. I really look forward to seeing this movie

I dunno how you can judge a movie that you haven't seen yet. And who the hell cares how many veins the Hulk's got popped out or whatever you were talking about it. The movie's gonna rock. Period.

Hey, I dint said I wont go see it. I dint said this movie will be miserable. Just said it wont be what I expected and was disapointed about it.
About the veins, its just a way to say "aggressiveness". Its like that werewolf movie when the guy transform in the subway on the end and you see all the animal rage flood his veins almost about to explode. It can add to the scaryfactor.
Anyway, Im gone.

That's your problem...you can't EXPECT a damn thing. If you do of course you're gonna be disappointed. I'm sure everyone who went into Spidey with reservations about the organic webs hate the movie.
The only thing you should expect from ANY movie is to overpay for everything and get your feet stuck on the theater floor 'cause some jerk before you spilled all their soda and the cleaning crew is a joke. 'Nuff Said.
