I don't know, I guess there was a lack of interest. It used to be on everyday, except maybe sundays, on Oddesy/Hallmark. Now he's only on 10-10-220 commercials. I like Alf.

Speaking of Alf, I remember one episode had a reference to GB's. Alf and the dad were discussing something, and the dad said "well, sometimes people do things that they just shouldn't do" and Alf said "well, I guess that explains Ghostbusters 2."
Kind of a cheap shot, but funny all the same.

it was a good show. i got recent pictures of the father smoking crack and doing sexual acts for drugs. it's kinda funny and kinda sad.

does anyone remember the PROJECT: ALF made for tv movie from the mid-90's? i found it on an old tape that i dug up, along with the GENERATION X movie. haven't watched alf, though.

it was cancelled because it got lame.
have you watched it recently? i just watched a dvd you can only get in freakin canada of alf shows or it was a tv movie, maybe 2 dvds, regardless, it was lame, drawn out, boring, and unfunny. and the daughter wasnt even hot. 80's pax tv at its finest

I miss ALF. He was very important to my childhood and my life. He was like a brother to me, so to speak. 
I remember in the final episode, someone discovered ALF, and it was supposed to be a TBC thing, but noooooo! They had to break my poor little heart. ::cries::

Why is ANY show cancelled? Ratings decline and networks no longer consider them a good investment. Or, it could have been it created such a public uproar the network was forced to take it off to appease the masses but that's a less common situation.

ALF. Ah, that was a GREAT show.   I have many fond Childhood Memories of watching that back in the late 80's and early 90's. Does anyone remember that animated series he had? It was called AlfTales. I really miss My Childhood back in the 80's.
