If you can't tell already my girlfriend broke up with me AFTER ONE YEAR OF DATING!!
This is how it started:
I have been calling her for the past few weeks to make plans, well she would either be too tired or didnt want to. Well, turns out she's been sending her best friend Andy emails asking him to hang out! I asked her to explain, and she said "We've been drifting apart, the last year has been great but this relationship isnt going anywhere". Yeah, that was that.
Maybe GB3 should have an ex-girlfriend as one of the villains!! ARRRGGHHH!!!!

It sucks mightily, but if might help to think of it on a larger scale.
A year. Whats a year out of the grand total of your life. Life moves on, so she broke up with you, means things just weren't meant to be. These things happen. Believe me, I've been there more than once, the last time it happened was after 3 years and we were engaged. That hurt a hell of a lot, nearly drove me to death (really). 
But we survive, we get over these things and we move on. Now? I'm with an absolutely wonderful woman whos everything my exes havn't been. 
The moral of this story? 'Sh*t happens' and it sucks like all kinds of hell. But there is always something else to come in life. Women aren't evil, at least, no more evil then men. It all comes down to the individual. You'll forgive her in time an' all that and you might even become friends.
Take care amigo, and remember, whats a year out of your life when you look at it as a whole? You've got many more left.

I'm not even going to start on the sort of stuff I can tell you guys, in case someone brands me as a misogynist.
Suffice to say, I had three really crappy (and really short) relationships in the space of a year back when I was 21; nothing before them, and nothing in the 3 years or so since. Not even so much as a date.
At least in my neck of the woods, there's no room for the nice guys; all the girls want bad-boy types as fashion accessories. I couldn't even begin to tell you the number of times I've heard "You're a nice guy, but..." (usually the implication is "You're not my type").
Do what I do. Have a few tall frosty ones, get maudlin, watch movies til 4am... then take a shower and tidy your room. Throwing stuff away is theraputic.
And look on the bright side. Yours lasted for a year. I'm lucky if I can make it past a month.

no worrys mike, my g/f broke up with me and told me it wasent becuz another guy, till i found out form one of her firends it was, the only thing i ever asked her to do was always be honest with me and she couldent even do that, so i say forget the witch (id use the other word but this is a family site (no offense to the nice girls out there)) but yea, when i get my batmobile done me and mike is going cruising for girls, (along wtih eric, ice, bor.. and a few other ppl....im gonna need a bigger batmobile.....)

hey , me and smoking trap got same thing going , i haven't had so much as a date in 2 years ....mainly because i don't go anywhere girls are , the main places i hang out at are the harley shop ,the car parts store , and a crap hole bar that no one goes to . and i don't like talking to people ....well online is different, but you get my point .if they want me thay can come to me

Why do girls automaticly expect the relation ship to always progress and progress quickly. I dated a girl for 3 months...she really expected WAY to much.

You know, on another MB I frequent, we're having the same convo almost where some girls declared guys are too complicated to understand...
What world do they live in?
Women are the most tempermental, infurating, complicated creatures on this planet. They can totally screw with our emotions and get away with it, yet when we do it it's like the biggest crime in the world. We're pigs when we look at women, but they're cute when they look at guys. It's the ultimate double standard, they want everything 50/50, but they don't return what they get.

Yeah i will have to agree with you there Mike. But not all girls are bad. But then again whos pefect. All i can say is that my best mates Girlfriend who have been together for almost 2 years, wont even let him see me, she just wants him to drop everything to be with her all the time, and thats pretty shitty as we've been best mates since we were 3 years old, and thats going back some time. We've been through the worst and best times together, hes like a brother to me, and all because of one girl i feel i dont know him anymore. I mean we still see each other. This is one thing i hate about that one girl. But girls are'nt bad just girls that get to close to us as it always ends in tears. Its the way of life.
