Not surprised.
I'm not going to make that crack about the "yuppie larvae", 'cause I know someone else will eventually. But it seems that the more we get into GB, the less we realize that many of our peers aren't. A lot of my friends don't even know there was a second movie - and although we ghostheads may be shocked - it's no big deal to the rest of the world.
But I guess... I am a little surprised, after all, Aykroyd is a big name actor. But I suppose since he's not Leo DiCaprio or Elijah Wood and is not making a lot of new movies, he's not that well known among today's population.

I did ask them River! They didn't know any of them! I ran through loads of his films! And nothing! It was onlu until I sent them a picture of him in the GB2 coutroom scene did they say: "Oh yea... that guy from Ghostbusters, saw that ages ago..."
I just don't believe it! I'm going to ask them if they know who Harold Ramis is!
PS: Toaster, How on earth could they not know of the second film????

dude, Dan Aykroys is like, one of the best comedic actors out there, he's been in so much, how could anyone NOT know him? It's really unbelievable. You're right dude, we're upon the doorstep of doom, just give him the ring so it can all end, there is no way we things can go back to the way they were before, so just let him have the ring and destroy us all, before we have to live another minute.
Ok.... im a geek. Anyways, I really can't understand how they don't know Dan.

this was discussed that it isnt the doom of life because some people outside the realm of everyone here's reality to not know who any of the ghostbusters are, what the ghostbusters do, who the ghostbusters are, when it was on tv, and what a protonpack is. those people, outside this reality many of you share, are locked in a true Reality. where there are more things to life than ghostbusters. like hotdogs and pie. come on people. get some sun.

I don't think its the doom because of Ghostbusters, it's a sign of our times that nowdays even the greatest actors arent recognised unless theyre REALLY good looking...

Sorry. Got a bit carried away there. But OH MY GOD!! Dan Aykroyd is the best actor of all time. He's made over 70 movies and they don't even know who he is? OH MY GOD!!
