I love the theme to "Batman Beyond". It goes well with the well-planned intro and has an awesome pulsating electronica sound.

Some new TV shows use one verse or so of full-length songs as their opening credits. "Malcolm in the Middle" is one of them, and the new Star Trek "Enterprise" is another. I don't know if the songs existed before the show, or the themes were "extended" into full length songs for radio tie-in. Examples of either method can be found on the tube.

personally there are just too many to like, but my main ones are the (regular)batman cartoon show, real ghostbusters, and teenage mutant ninja turtles. also the intro to dragonball z isn't bad either (both english and japanese).

ENTERPRISE. Thats a good song, and it just isnt based upon space either but all journeys/explorations throughout history. i love the sequence, whoever came up with the song and opening credits design deserves several awards!

Personally, I don't really favor the new "Enterprise" song. Don't ask me why, 'cuz then I'll get mad and probably inadvertantly (sp?) insult people. That's something nobody wants.
I'd have to say that, among many others, the Bucky O'Hare and Tick (cartoon) themes stand out from the rest.

Come on, ya gotta love "Faith of the Heart". I'm no big fan of the show, but the theme is better than any lame variation of the theme from the movies anyone can make...

"... the theme is better than any lame variation of the theme from the movies anyone can make...
I'm not really sure what that means, so I'll ignore it for now. All and all, I warned you, Eggman -- you've foced me to revive this topic and complain about that theme.
Now, take a minute to listen to theme songs of the past (not so much Deep Space Nine, but still...). I listen to them, and I am reminded of heroics, bravery, and all-around good fanfare. Now, listen to the Enterprise theme. What do you hear? No fanfare. No timeless orchestral theme. All you hear is this guy harp on about faith. Every time I hear that song, I am disgusted beyond belief. Hearing some guy with a guitar ... it's just so un-Star Trekky! I mean -- GAAH! I'm getting angry just talking about it! I'm sorry, but no. I just can't abide that song.
Well, that was pointless ... but at least I got this off my chest.
