I'm gonna have to agree with VenkmanGB1A. In fact, I'll go one further...I predict that Subway, Mcdonald's, and Taco Bell will be the supreme fast food distributers of the next decade.

these guys I know from the Matris(A cheaper version of the matrix cant use the name do to interational copyright laws.alright you look confused here ya see the Matrix runs on window 10000 and the matris runs on dos)well anyway there on the subway diet like jared and Fat Basterd
there names ank mopheus and neto 
They lost 10 pounds and ank looks like a ethopian but at least we get to eat Subway.

I don't live off the stuff, but I do occasionally like a Subway foot-long steak and cheese, or a meatball sub.
On the other hand, McDonald's makes me barf. And the smell of Kentucky Fried Chicken makes my gut clench.
Praise the Lord, I know how to cook for myself - so unlike some of the folks I used to know at university, I don't have to eat fast food three times a day

2 words: Jimmy John's. Now there is an awesome sub. Mostly in Illinois right now, but starting to branch out. Subway is better than it used to be. I stopped going there, but my boss made me go get something for him a few weeks ago. I got something too. It was good. Now, if I could only go on the Jared diet, I would look great. I don't have that kind of money to be buying Subway everyday, though.

Quizno's RULES, but it's a tad pricey.
- Footlong Subway Melt on whole wheat, with cheese, a bit of mustard, lettuce, extra pickles, black olives, and barbecue sauce. Now that's a meal.

I wish we had more decent "restaurants" (franchised ones, anyway - the proper restaurants are good, if a tad pricey) around here. We've had Subway for about 4-5 years now, as well as around 6 McDonald's in a 3 mile radius, and one Burger King. (There's also a bunch of KFCs and a couple of Pizza Huts, but I digress...)
There WAS a Blimpie near the office where I used to work, in the city, but I never got to eat there. And I only ever saw one Starbucks, which was when I was at university. Had a couple of Baskin-Robbins cones, though...
How come almost all the good stuff is either not in England, or in places I can't get to? (Like Leicester - a three hour drive from me... the Chicago Blues Cafe imports stuff like Hershey bars, Reese's peanut butter cups, and Snapple. Man, I miss that place).
Ah well. One day I'll tour the US. I've had subs... now all I need to try is hoagies and grinders and of course, that fabled Maine favourite, fried mozarella sticks and cheese-dip.

Tubaman is right, Jimmy John's is great. What I like is that they have options for people who don't like a lot of "stuff" of their sub. Like just roast beef, or salami and capicola.

I enjoy the meatball sub and sweet onion chicken teriyaki.....I like Subway....but I must agree that it is expensive for what it is.
