Who think's they can mod Doom 3 into a GB game. Can't think of to much to say becuase I'm not sure if anyone is skilled enough to do it. But maybe an email to a skilled modder might work. I'd love to play GB Doom 3. those grpahics are so sick

A GB3 Doom III would be nice, but it's really hard to make mods (Total Conversions especially) for new games these days. It's almost like making a whole new game. Making a TC for an old game like Doom 2 is hard enough - but making one for a new game like Doom 3 is extremely complicated. You'd need somebody to make the 3D models, map out the stages and so on. Not many people have the time, skills and the resources to make that happen.

Doc Eggman is completely right.
Single Person modding was able to work in the days of sprite based games, because it all involved 2d art basically, that and some minor coding.
But these days, the days of 3d, everything is much harder. It requires a team of dedicated people, 99% of the team being unpaid, to make a modification.
The team must consist of coders, mappers, modellers, animators, sprite artists, texture artists, 2d artists, and sound effects specialists.
Finding qualified, dedicated people in these areas is difficult, because they are not easy to learn how to do.
So modding Doom 3 would be possible, very possible actually, but it would be quite a bit harder to do, and impossible for 1 person.

It's not really that hard. The problem is finding a proper team to help do it. I'd say people could make a GB mod for DoomIII. No sweat. But the chances of them completing it are alot smaller.
