Would there be any intrest in a CSI or Dr. Who crossover fanfiction?

Would people be intrested or would they hate it because it could potentially ruin both series. I'm not sure wheteher I should do it because I'm not an expert in forensic medicine. Would it be the same case for a Dr. Who crossover?

and how in the world can u make a CSI crossover

Maybe the GBs investigate a ghost, which leads them to a murder and the only witness is the ghost of the deceased. ("Baby's breath" but much more realistic) However the ghost can only remeber so much and the CSI have to investigate how the ghost died.

2 different sections, #1 following CSI, as they hunt down a serial killer that defaces the homes and plasters the rooms with some kind of goop (Anyone guess what it is?) and the 2nd following the GBs as they follow the trail of a horrific ghost that escaped the ECU! The two parts clash when the GBs are investigating the latest house and the cops storm in, The GBs are held in custody, before being released and team up with the CSI.

Yes, a cross with CSI would be interesting... if only to see the two theme songs for both franchises mixed...

Spenglerjjc (me): Yeah! For CSI: You could have a cousin of Egon's who works in forensics. Awesome...carry on the Spengler-Scientist tradition. And then have the Marg Helgenberger character fall in love over Egon, and then she battles it out with Janine!
Janine: I battle it out with who?...Oh, as long as she doesn't take -MY- Egon I don't care what her name is!
Spenglerjjc: And I'm sure Peter would fit perfectly in the plot.
Peter: Exactly what do you mean by that?
Spenglerjjc: As the comic relief!
Peter: Oh. Well, that's not bad.

**Spoilers**
Okay, here's a bit of a summory:
Peter Venkman meets a girl while in Las Vegas and they go out on a date, he evntually takes her back to her hotel room however they have a fight and he stroms off towards the Strip, she goes back into her room and that's the end of that. The next morning, Grissom and his team are called in to investigate a woman found dead in her bedroom. A card found on the woman's table and the fingerprints left by Venkman point to him being the killer, he's arrested and the Ghostbusters must work with the CSI to clear his name, the evidence is so overwhelming that if they don't solve the case in 36 hours Peter will be convicted of murder one. However, as the CSI team is sweeping the room for any material to point towards the killer when they first arrive there, they find some strange residue that doesn't match anything in their database...
That's all for now, I've spoilt enough already. And no, Egon won't have a realive on the team and he won't be involved in a love triangle.
