What to look for?

Now when reading other peoples Fan FIcs, what makes them interesting, is it Character? Sisuations? PLot? I'd like to know, becuase I'm trying to write a good cross over between Freddy, Jason and the Ghostbusters but am having trouble on what people like to read about. SO please give me your 2 cents on this subject.

yes, for Freddy's wit, I was thinking of cutting it dow. but I'm looking for some Co-Writers, I'd like to have Biggsex on boared so if anyone esle wants to join then come a bored adn we'll discus the plot into further depth.

When I write a fanfic, I leave out important details from the start to add mystery tow ho the character could be or where they are. Then later on I add in the detail. I also normally open the story after they've received the phone call to whatever job they're going to, I think it ads a little suspence if you drop your audience in some sort of action at the start.
