Yay...Cokes and Twinkies!
Yep, I'm gonna get some free time reserved for updating the list so I can get it as good as I can, but it will always have an error or two.

I hope niether you guys nor Vincent Belmont minds me putting this here--it's the Official GBI Ghost Classification System, originally found in the role playing game and previously posted by Dr. Belmont in the topic Ghost Classification. It IS different from the one used on TV (a simple power scale) but I agree with Dr. Belmont that the other system is "stupid"
CLASS I - This type of specter is defined as an undeveloped form, insubstantial and difficult to see. The Class I's interaction with the physical environment is limited and enigmatic (i.e. spectral lights, voices, sounds).
CLASS II - A ghost that begins to have actual visible characteristics and can physically manipulate things (i.e. poltergeist). Class II forms tend to be vague and inconsistent, like hands or a face just floating there.
CLASS III - When a ghost begins to take an actual distinct human form (i.e. face, torso, arms) it's classified as a Class III. III's can often change their forms as well.
CLASS IV - When investigation reveals the former identity of a Class III ghost, it is reclassified as a Class IV. Usually indistinct from the chest down.
CLASS V- An ectoplasmic manifestation of definite but non-human form. Theory supposes that Class V's are formed from emotionally-charged events or locations.
CLASS VI - A non-human "animal" ghost.
CLASS VII- A Metaspecter with extra-dimensional powers far beyond human ken. Powers often include the ability to change form at will, dematerialize objects, summon pests, or possess people and animals just to name a few.
VAPOR - term used to describe any entity that can pass through walls and other physical objects.
FOCUSED - a ghost that is said to be "focused" is unable to leave the area or building where it first appears.
REPEATER - a ghost that will continue to return until the source of the PKE that summons it is discovered.

Nice work Veedramon, this deserves to be here. Wow, I think I'm gonna have to either release the fact list as a long topic, or as a seperate fanfic, maybe a fanfic, we'll have to see.
And the list is coming along nicely.

This is great Guys!
After the list is finished, you could just post it in this topic. Maybe a Mod could delete all the other Replies here, and make it into a sticky at the top of the Fan Fiction Thread. Of course, all three of us Great Hard-Working Ghostheads would be credited.
BTW, did you find the other links that Veedramon and I posted earlier helpful? Will any of their info that may have been left out of that Canon List be included in the new list?

They don’t just call them The Real Ghostbusters for no reason! Take a look at Take Two, Citizen Ghost, The Ghostbusters Omnibus Timeline, THE GHOSTBUSTERS FACT LIST, and RGB Truly Canon with the Movies?, and you’ll see why!

I'm hoping to include info that has been left out of the canon lists, but we'll have to see how it goes.

After only a month of work (sorry...real life and all that...) As always, remember that multiple writers were involved and some things may be contradictory to an obscure reference in an animated episode or some such. And certainly take anything Venkman claims about himself with a grain of salt
One little note: this only includes RGB comics, not Slimer!, nor does it include Marvel UK reprints. Maybe after Dark Lotus gets them scanned and posted...
Canon Established by Now's Real Ghostbusters comic books
Dr. Peter Venkman
--Once went to a girlfriend's party as a swamp monster by smearing on 100 pounds of peanut butter. She broke up with him after he hugged her. (RGB#3)
--Has a poster of "Luscious Linda". Egon...borrowed it once. (RGB#4)
--Likes Cat Stevens' "Moon Shadow"(RGB#5)
--Gets wistful during toy commericials. They remind him of the "Robot Command set [he] never had" (RGB#6)
--Once posed as Cody Jarret's "torpedo" Peter Gunn (RGB#7)
--Has had some really weird Tunnel of Love experiences (RGB#8)
--His mother is definitely dead--he was raised by his father, and had to travel a lot to dodge the law and Charlie's disgruntled marks. (RGB#9)
--Likes to watch Trampoline Wrestling (RGB#10)
--Likes to watch Mister Wizard, in hopes of learning how to trap Slimer in a milk bottle (RGB#10)
--Plays dumb so that it's harder for people to second guess him (RGB#10)
--Prefers to wear a blue robe when posing as a wizard (RGB#11)
--Razzes Egon by pretending to confuse chess and checkers (RGB#12)
--According to Janine, he's a lousy speller (RGB#12)
--Reads tabloids. Favorite headline: "Lost In Arctic, Ate Own Foot, And the Sock Too". Doubts the guy really ate the sock (RGB#13)
--Has an "abominable" uncle (RGB#13)
--Loves to make jokes about Buffalo (RGB#13)
--Got a kick out of seeing blimps in old movies (RGB#15)
--Likes to case parades for girls (shock, huh?)(RGB#15)
--Three main fears: falling, premature burial, and being eaten (RGB#17)
--Has been chased by women in need of shaves before (RGB#19)
--Eats peanut butter and onion sandwiches because Slimer won't steal them (RGB#19)
--Once emptied the Rialto theatre by hiding a water bottle of beef stew under his shirt and emptying it in a "fake upchuck" routine (RGB#23)
--Prefers country circuses to city ones (RGB#24)
--Likes taco pizza (RGB#27)
--Hates roller coasters (RGB Vol.2#0)
--Sometimes carries a paperback edition of Tobin's Spirit Guide(RGB Vol.2#0)
--Had a 3-D puzzle when he was a kid (Maybe it was one of them Millenium Puzzles ( ))(RGB Vol.2#3)
Dr. Raymond Stantz
--Loves the TV show "Wizard of Speed and Time" because of it's new special effects process, "Jitlovation"(RGB#1)
--Visited the amusement park Toad Island with his father as a child, loved it. (RGB#8) Met a mermaid on one visit when he got lost from his father (RGB#19)
--Has an autographed Captain Steel comic (RGB#9)
--His parents encouraged him in his comic book reading, and never blamed them when Ray was bad or did poorly in school (RGB#9)
--Reads tabloids. Favorite headline: "World War Two Bomber Found On Moon" (RGB#13)
--Went to Harry Flashman Memorial Junior High, an old school--he once found his uncle's initials carved into a desk (Gaylord Stantz?) By 1986, the school is closed (RGB#14)
--Morrisville is so small that it "still doesn't have storefront karate classes"(RGB#14)
--Liked dinosaurs as a kid (RGB#15)
--Loves balloon races (RGB#15)
--Prefers country circuses to city ones (RGB#24)
--When he was a kid, thought elephants looked like alien creatures (RGB#24)
--Once tried the "Creative Visualization" fad diet (RGB#27)
--Loves roller coasters (RGB Vol.2#0)
Dr. Egon Spengler
--Keeps two fully-charged proton packs stashed in a secret vault at Ghostbusters Central (RGB#1)
--Can cook popcorn with a particle thrower (RGB#4)
--Once...borrowed Venkman's poster of "Luscious Linda"(RGB#4)
--His grandfather knew Will Murray Hazzard, Doc Hazzard of the Crime Patrol (RGB#7)
--Once posed as gang leader Cody Jarret (RGB#7)
--Is a pretty good pilot of small jet aircraft such as his creation, the ECTO-4 (RGB#7,10-11)
--Is becoming quite known in the paranormal enthusiast community--the wizard Morehemoodus singled him out for mention upon meeting the Ghostbusters (RGB#10)
--Has designed a dimensional warp drive for the ECTO-4, but it's very expensive to build and use (RGB#11)
--Loves chess, but nobody will play him (RGB#12)
--Doesn't usually read tabloids (RGB#13)
--Carries the team's pocket pager (Remember, this was 1989, before they were everywhere)(RGB#15)
--Tries to keep Janine off of missions--he cares about her and it distracts him when she comes along (RGB#16)
--Can control the ECTO-4 through remote control (RGB#18)
--Knows clowns each use distinct makeup designs (RGB#24)(More of his implied disguise expertise, hinted at in GBI and "If I Were A Witch Man"?)
--Reads Technology Tommorow magazine (RGB#25)
--Unsurprisingly, his childhood bedroom looked like a science fair (RGB#26)
--Had an imaginary playmate in elementary school that helped him with his calculus, specifically teaching him how to use a slide rule (RGB#28)
--Has some actual mystic knowledge--enough to create simple protective pentagrams (RGB#28)
--One of his mentors in paranormal research--particullarly dimensional theory--was Ian Epimetheus, who disappeared into another dimension (the Peoplebusters' dimension apparently) years ago. (RGB Annual#1, RGB 3-D Annual)
Janine Melnitz
--Has at least one flapper costume in her closet. Used it to pose as Cody Jarret's gun mol (RGB#7)
--Certainly doesn't mind "posing" as Egon's partner (RGB#7,8)
--Is good at guessing sizes (RGB#9)
--Is scrupulous enough to pay for a puchase even though the shop owners have fled to worship demons (RGB#10)
--Has two additional Ghostbuster uniforms in addition to the hideous pink one seen on TV: one colored identical to Egon's (RGB#14) and one the same main color but with orange trim (RGB#22)
--Long dreamed of being in a parade (RGB#15)
--Her cousin, Michele Jacobs, is mother to a son, Alec Aaron Jacobs, named for their ancestor: Aaron Jacobs, the first disabled Congressman from New York (RGB#28)
--Usually dresses like a clown on Halloween (RGB 3-D Annual)(Hmmm...and Egon sounded like a clown expert in RGB#24...)
Winston Zeddemore
--Liked monster movies as a kid, but can't stand them anymore--his life is "too full of special effects as it is" now. (RGB#1) He eventually relents and starts going to them again to "pick up pointers"(RGB#23)
--Reads tabloids. Favorite headline: "I Married Bigfoot" (RGB#13)
--Likes to take his vacations as far away from crowds as he can (RGB#18)
--His girlfriend is a museum curator (RGB#19)
--Loves revival theatres (RGB#23)
Slimer
--Scared of dinosaurs. So naturally Venkman once tried to scare him with a cheap dinosaur costume (RGB#16)
--Won't eat peanut butter and onion sandwiches (RGB#19)
Louis Tully
--Is on a bowling team (RGB#17)
Hope everybody finds this interesting and useful!

Some excellent material there, stuff I never knew due to Now not being over here, which is a shame because they seem to make the Marvel comics pale in comparison.

Well, I've only read the ones Now reprinted, but suffice it to say the Now material was a lot better, especially the Vol.1 issues (every one except 4 and 21) written by James Van Hise.

Lol, just read a quote from Egon's using the Proton Gun for Popcorn.
"Slimer, you didn't see this."
Rofl!
I'm even thinking of adding the odd quote as well to the list to add extra emphasis and evidence.
Work has slowed a little, the RAM on my computer is being very choppy so I might transfer the list to another computer temporarily, but it's nice and long. I'm thinking about leaving out any contradictory facts, and I guess the GB2 comics will have to be ignored because they were working on the film script and fact list, not the carton or other Now comic facts.

I've just had an idea, why don't we create one topic which holds all info, the facts, the timeline, the name history and so on? It could be called The Encyleopedia Ghostbustica

YES!!!
That's a BRILLIANT Idea, Kingpin! We can do that, include the Fact List, Timeline, and hopefully one of us can take that info from The River of Slime’s Proton Lab and reword it, so we won't have to take a trip to Lawsuit City for plagerism.
BTW, I found this old topic earlier, with estimates of the RGB's Heights. Here we go:
Dr. Peter Venkman: 6'1"
Dr. Egon Spengler: 6'5"
Dr. Raymond Stantz: 5'11"
Winston Zeddemore: 6'2"
Unfortunetely, he didn't give any estimates for Janine and Louis' heights.
And a few more facts I'd like to add: Ray’s middle name is “Francis” (“Come here, Francine!”), Peter’s middle name is Charles, after his Dad, of course (Sheila Paulsen.), and I’ve read on two pages, including GBHQ, that Peter’s Birthday is October 25th.
Good Luck!

Ghostbusters International gives the following heights for the Ghostbusters. Though as always, remember it's probably based more off of the heights of the movie actors.
Dana Barrett: 5'8"
Janine Melnitz: 5'1"
Dr. Egon Spengler: 6'3"
Dr. Ray Stantz: 5'10"
Louis Tully: 5'5"
Dr. Peter Venkman: 5'11"
Winston Zeddemore: 5'9"
As with the birthdays, I'd say the only one in that list out-and-out wrong by RGB standards is Winston
Kingpin, as usual you've got a good idea brewing there. Maybe once you get the main list finished, we'll see what we can do with all this stuff we've put together.

Another idea brought to you by the people who invented the GB/ReBoot crossover:
Maybe as a section of the Encyleopedia Ghostbustica We have every ghost encountered in Tobin's Spirit Guide Or as seperate entries in the main encyleopedia.
