Here 's the story I'm working on ....
Stevens Go Smash..
Somewhere.....
Hobnail, the Hobgoblin, I have summonded you to enter the " living world" and cause complete havoc from above us.
Master, I have all the abilties to cause nationwide panic .
" Hobnail, don't be so sure of that. I have created a spell that you to cast upon a ghostbuster and it will cause them to be in complete rage, thus will break the team up perminately. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!
Master, I shall do as you wish. Give me the spell and I'll make a break of the GBWC. HEHEHAHATAHE!!!

At the Base.....
The North team was away, while South team were out to play, so to speak. Kyle was watching his medical show and petting his cats. Michael was asleep in the bed. Chad was having visions from winning the Super Bowl in his head. While Dr. Harness and Peter Kong waited from the phones to ring from the dead.
This is all I have for an opener what to you guys think ?

Hereis just my prologue to my story. It will be very long and everyone on GBWC will be involved in this story, it is kind of like our version of a movie I guess. But, this is just a backround of the villian. I will be continuing this story when I get further insperetion (i.e. the edit pot button). So without further adue:
Ghostbusters West Coast: Russian Roulette
Prologue
Russia
1527
A dark monk arrived at the steps of the palace.
"Halt!" Shouted the palace guard. "What business do you have with the Czarina?"
The monk stopped. His head still down, he removed a small letter from the recesses of his clothing.
"Hrm….hereby grant…..performing the task of….." The guard murmured allowed. "Right. Excuse me please sir. I had no idea. I mean, these are just guard regulations and-"
"Spare yourself." Hissed the monk.
The guard quickly resumed his position with a look of fear upon his face. He knew very well not to underestimate the power of this man.
The monk passed the guard, continuing his journey.
Word of his arrival was quickly passed through the guard posts and positions; the man would not be stopped for questioning again.
The well known monk proceeded to the throne room. He would be able to meet with the Czarina, who requested his presence on such short notice.
He had made pretty adequate time; considering his trip from the small village of Astonia, Austria to Moscow, Russia in only 4 days. Then again, his powers preceded his name.
"Please follow me, Sir" A royal guard stated.
The guard escorted the guest to the throne, where he would be announcing his arrival.
"Empress, may I introduce the Honorable-"
"Save it you twit. My husband has gone insane. He is now on his death bed. And now my son is suffering of illness! I have no time for your ridiculous rambling!" She re-directed her sights on her guest. Her tone changed to a more appreciative softness. "Welcome Rasputine. Please, make yourself at home. Allow my daughter to escort you to your room."
"You are too kind, my Highness. I shall proceed to work after I unpack and change into fresh robes." Responded Rasputine in a raspy voice which echoed throughout the hall.
"Please do kind sir. I hope your renowned healing powers shall revive my son." Chimed a hopeful woman.
"I live to serve."

And serve Rasputine did. This monk of mysterious powers inherited from a long family line of sorcerer’s was also a man of great persuasion. He soon made the Czarina believe that her son could not survive without him around at all times, so an addressing to leave was out of the question.
Four years passed and Rasputine was able to minimally control the Czarina and her decisions and actions. The royal family and other extremely wealthy family friends and acquaintances began to tire with this solicitor of sorts.
More to come, please give me your thoughts, good and bad. I am used to critiques, seeing as I am also an actor.

Hello all.
Otter - I know I use this expression a lot but that story was unbelievable. I can tell by the success rate of the prologue that youre story Russian Roullette (I love the title by the way)will be even more entertaining (If thats possible).
Peter Kong - I have been busy with both work and writing a northern sub division fan fiction. Please be patient. The remaining pictures will be up soon.
Everyone - Instead of posting clips or prologues on the boards I suggest you use e-mail to conserve space. Again, after you write a fan fiction send it via email to each member. They will then read it and decide if they would like to make the story official by sending an email containing the a yes or no vote below the fan fiction title. If the majority of the votes are yes, you will then get the okay from veedramon on which you will submit your fiction to the site. If half or majority of the votes are negative you will have to go back to the drawing boards for the next time around.
Another subject I would like to discuss is the way many of you are writing your fan fictions. I see some of you are writing fictions just about your character and leaving the team out of the story (Jeremy, youre story is a special exception considering its a team story starring past experiences of your life and so on). I suggest everyone write a fan fiction as an episode of the ghostbusters television show, containing the whole team, usually not focusing on one character unless called for.

PS - I have recently finished the first draft of a northern sub division fic. Ill be sending it to veedramon for criticsm, and then Ill add the corrections and send it to everyone.

Keep in mind, there were some episodes that focussed a particular character but still involved the whole team.

All - if we are going to do an email thing, I suggest all post their emails ASAP. The sooner we know, the sooner GBWC can become fully operational.

I was trying to refer to the episodes that did focus on only one ghostbuster, though it seems the majority of fan fics that are being worked on are like this. Its fine to have one or two but it seems that everyone is doing that ( Jeremy is one of them that I will let do sort of a character episode to continue his reference in Opening Night).

Otter, I have almost everyone's e-mail except for three people(chadderbox, Ray Parker Jr., and Kyle's friend, I'm not sure of his name) I had chadderbox's e-mail, but it doesn't work for some reason. Keep building those dam's  .
Ludicris, I've been adding on to my story to try to involve the northern division and possibly the southern.

I Ludi should get a member sheet containing our character names, GBN names, AIM names, e-mail addresses, and other means of contact as reference for all members. I'm a part of an Online Strat Baseball league and they have a page on the site that lists contact info so people have a way to discuss trades and deals. We could use this to swap story ideas, give suggestions, and get more information about each individual character from their creator. This way a writer will be able to have more options with each character when they know how each character reacts and acts differently.

I have completed Chapter One of my story......er.....novel at the rate I am going. I will send a copy to all who I have email addresses to. If you would like it, gimme yer email. I will do this for every chapter I write from now on.

I second the call to "try and include everybody" or at least more than just yourself. Granted, you know your character the best, and it'll get easier as we understand everybody better.
I guess I have to say "look at Opening Night Part One". I tried to make darn sure to try and give good scenes to everybody, and debated with myself as to whether Doc Fritz's scenes were running too long.
Ask yourself: "Does my character really have to be the one doing everything? Or would it make more sense to spread the action? And if so to who?" I understand the impulse to make "yourself" the hero or center of attention (I'm as guilty as anyone on that) but try to consider the rest of the team, too.
For a real challenge, try writing a story "you"'re not even in. For example, "I" won't be in chapters three and four much if at all...
Kyle and Otter: Some great starts there. Completely different, but great.

That is exactly how mine was planned to be. Everyone is included in my story. Since Dr. Masterson is not a buster, he will not be in it too much. I mean, they dont have engineers with proton packs on their backs these days...
