Does Ectoplasm give off ANY type of energy? i've been pondering this question.. in order to try to make a real PKE meter, if it does.. SOMETHING has to be able to pick it up.

there called EMF detectors and are thought to be able to pick up spirit energy. ectoplasm falls into that catagory

i know what a EMF meter is.. but.. i mean.. just normal spirit energy, because a EMF meter can be effected by power lines.. and stuff =/

nobody knows for sure what kind of energys they give off if any... some like to use copasses they say that spirit energy can effect the way a compass works and cause it to stray off north... and a compass is not effected by powerlines and such.

I have a question.. actually the corner stone to my hyposthesis..
"Is Ectoplasm Matter?" if it is.. wouldn't it like take from stuff in the air? (i.e oxygen, Co2, or whatever) and wouldn't it be possible to use some type of Air molecule sensing device (like the sniffer) to snese it?

ectoplasm is the mist manifestation of a spirit comonly seen in pictures as a mysterious fog hope that helps

technically ectoplasm is something that does exist inside the human body. I think it's in cells, but I'm not sure. I learned about it in biology.

yes your right in one aspect ectoplasm is the yellowish colored stuff in blood, but in the paranormal world it is what i wrote so we are both right

ectoplasm isnt just the mist manifistation it can aslo come in a goo type solid form. people just call it ecto cloud/ectoplasmic cloud ect ect

Actually, ectoplasm can only come in that goo solid form. That's why it's called ectoplasm. I guess that ecto-clouds are just the gas form of ecto, and that it could also be a solid or liquid. Not sure though.

well no one knows for sure but I doubt the ecto coulds are the ectoplasm's gas form. Ecto cloud in my opinion is a form of energy and is just called ectoplasmic mist even though it probably has nothing to do with ectoplasm.

i have always thought that ghostbusters made ectoplasm slime instead of the cloud guess i need more studing

Dude, ghostbusters isn't real. You can't go by what they did in the movie. They did do some studying of paranormal stuff, but I don't think they went very far. Also, I don't believe in ghosts or know much about parapsychology, ecto-stuff, etc., so don't interpret the stuff I say to be an absolute fact.

Ectoplasm is what is apparently excreted from mediums sometimes in a trance. It is also what a ghost is made up of, like we are made up of Cells, tissue etc, therefore you get Ectoplasm clouds. There is "evidence" (unproven of course) that this exists.
Ectoplasmic residue, as far as I'm aware does not exist, this is however what you would call Slime.

ghostbuster d read my post i said i thought ghostbusters changed it to slime for effect not thast ghostbusters was real dont put words in my mouth please. and ectoplasm isnt in our blood that plasma i researched that too

I read in a book of some kind (I think it was a dictionary) and it had a definition of what Ectoplasm was. I forget what said word for word, but it mentioned that it's the remains of cytoplasm. Cytoplasm is the liquid stuff that's in our cells. You know, the stuff that seperates all of the organelles within the cell. If anyone took Biology, you know what I'm talking about.
