Yup, same here! I still don't like sleep near a closet (especially if the door is open) and I'm 21 years old! LOL! I punched my best friend in the neck from jumping out of mine scaring me when i was like 8!

You guys ever watch that show "Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction"? Well, the show has a series of short stories and leaves it to the viewer to think of they're fact or fiction. At the end of each episode, they reveal which shorts were based on actual events. Well, one story revolved around this kid who kept on being tormented by neighborhood bullies who teased him for believing there was a monster in his closet. Well, one day the bullies broke into his house and one of the bullies actually locked himself in the closet to mock the scared little boy. The bully began pretending to be scared, then he actually did start screaming. Well, when they opend the closet back up all that was left of the bully was his cloths and shoes. And it was a FACT.  Freaky eh?

call me weird but i don't like my closeit its
had thous sliding doors but i busted them down and i sleep on the couch but when i have to sleep in my room(other people sleep in my room)well i just imangen long green fingers curling around the slide of the wall

Well seeing as though we're swapping stories, I may aswell tell share a story a good friend of mine told me. (Please note, I am in no way verifiying, disagreeing with or in any way stating that this really happened, it is merely something she believes happened.)
She was apparently lying in bed when she was a kid, and was fully awake, because back in those days she didn't sleep well. Anyway, she was just looking into space and then she noticed a head materialize out of her closer door, it poked its head out and looked around. Apparently it was sort of demonic, in any case, she screamed, the heqad pulled itself back into the door and her mother came rushing in. My friend attempted to tell her mum what she had seen. Strangely the mother just shruged it off and left her to sleep in that room... She's had other experiences in her house, but thats the most relavent.
Like I said, I did not state I believe this toi be a bogey man, I'm just telling you an interesting story that supposedly happened.

i take kendo (the way of the sword) and i sleep with my sword well call me crazy 
i just like to be prepeard for any thing

I have St Vincent and my Rosary Beads abotu my head when I sleep, I believe they will protect me. As for Mike_D: I remember that ep! I saw it when it first came out, that was like one of the first episodes, the creepy thing was it was true!

there was this one experiment done where a girl was blindfolded and a tiwg was placed on her arm. When she asked what it was they said it was a burning match. The girl developed burns on her arm!
