HOW TO START A GBI FRANCHISE

Ghostbusters International (GBI) Is Seeking Qualified Individuals To Become Franchisees
At Ghostbusters International® we take great pride in our service and our exceptional franchise opportunity. We strive to provide our franchisees with the tools and knowledge to run a successful local business.
Here's how you get started in SIX easy steps...
1.) Put together your official GBI uniforms (khaki or gray). Lovingly sew the official GBI logo patch to arm and name patch to front. Here are links for purchasing some of the components of the uniform...

2.) Begin construction of equipment, Proton packs, traps, ghost sniffers, PKE meters, etc. Some of the plans for this gear can be found at: gbprops.com
3.) Once you and your GB team have been assembled, take pictures of yourselves in your uniforms and gear. Make sure the pictures are interesting (or humorous) poses, doing some of the things that Ghostbusters do best!
4.) Come up with a name for your Ghostbusters Franchise. We at GBI suggest a specific location title instead of a general one. For example, instead of "Ghostbusters, Tennessee" which encompasses the entire state (leaving little to no room for future franchises in that state)...We suggest you name it for the region of the state, city, or county you serve. "Middle Tennessee Ghostbusters" works well because it lets you know what area of their state they serve, and also leaves plenty of room for other franchises in the state...ie, East or West Tennessee Ghostbusters.
5.) Create a business website that showcases the stuff you did in steps 1-4...You will NOT be recognized as an OFFICIAL GBI franchise unless you have a website. There are several really great examples of this on the world wide whoopty-doo. For ideas, be sure to check out:

6.) Contact GBI to get your location registered. I can be reached at ghostbusters_int@hotmail.com
Once you're registered with GBI, you'll receive your official documentation, and be added to GBI's big Master Franchise List. Plus, later we hope to be able to offer more in the way of support and perqs for GBI franchises.

Many thanks to Louis for posting the information of starting a franchise.
Now is the time to go for the gold and open up a franchise. People are always looking for the next big thing - the dot com example - why not go with something tried, tested and ultimately trusted... your own GBI franchise!
I can happily say that I have already begun to work upon my local franchise - yes it may only be myself - but a local franchise I hope it shall be.
I look forward to applying for franchise certification in the future.

The Middle Tennessee GB use the Dickies coverall that can be found here
GBI recognizes both Gray and Navy! You can view NEW pix of the MTGB uniforms here
We chose the Dickies over flightsuits because the wash well and are tough...

GBI also recognizes Black jump suits. If they don't that would count out GBVA, the Alaskan GB, and Night Squad.

My friends and I have been discussing the formation of our own group since Halloween, ahen I dressed up in GB Gear. (It's not official gear, but the suit is kinda close. Khaki cargo pants and a khaki-coloured Jacket. And Duct Tape.)
I shall relay this information to my 'busting buddies, and hopefully, we'll be contacting you in a few months!
