let me rephrase that, i should say, how old were you, and what do you remember from that whole era, of when the movies came out?
i was unfortunately born in '85, so all I was able to see in theaters was GB2. I remember my dad took me to a drive in movie theater in our old town of York Nebraska. Drive-in's are pretty rare these days, so that holds special memories. also i remember all the hype, like i had all the toys from hardee's (which are long gone, but I still have plenty of cool stuff) and I got to see Ecto 1-A there too. So to me, GB2 will always hold that special place in my heart, just for the good memories.
what other memories hold special for you guys??

I was born on July 1, 1986 (Coincidentally the same birth date as Dan Aykroyd’s, and the same year of the premier of RGB. ).
I remember going to see GB II back in '89, with my Parents. I must have been three or almost three. I remember watching RGB every Saturday Morning, and I remember all the Merchandise. Hardees had a lot, too. I remember getting one of those GB II Beepers. Ah, Childhood memories of the 1980's.

They don’t just call them The Real Ghostbusters for no reason! Take a look at Take Two, Citizen Ghost, The Ghostbusters Omnibus Timeline, THE GHOSTBUSTERS FACT LIST, and RGB Truly Canon with the Movies?, and you’ll see why!

I didn't exist when GB1 premiered.
As for GB2, I saw it in the theaters I'm guessing, but more likely I was into the Real Ghostbusters back in the day...

Like I've said before I'm more into RGB simply because you found out more about the guys then you could in GB or GB2 (I'm referring to each of their backgrounds), but I was 2 when GB came out and 7 when GB2 came out. Don't think I would have been old enough to fully enjoy GB as a 2 year old so probably didn't see it in theatres. Did yell, "JESUS CHRIST!" when I saw GB2 in theatres when I was 7 at seeing the Statue of Liberty walking in the streets of Manhattan though, lol. As far as what I remember about the era goes*trys to think back some 14 to 19 odd years back depending on which movie*that's a hard one. It was so long ago.

one of the best things i remember was the toys. back then i had a little more than i do now (over the years, things get lost as you move ) but i still have most all of it. It was a great time to be a kid. I always used to cry when RGB got over every day, b/c i loves it so much, but when we got our 1st VCR (another great 80's invention!) my mom made a tape with a bunch of eps on it, which still works to this day, and in fact i watched yesterday.

I was three when the first film came out but I didn't see it until when I was either in Grades 1 or 2. However, I did see GB2 in the theatres. That was during the summer of '89. Ah, the memories.

I wasn't born until '87 either, so I didn't see either of them in theaters. I didn't even see them until like '93...

I wasn't born until 1988 so I didn't see any of the movies in the theatres most likley, and if I happened to see the second one in theatres I would be to young to remember.

OMG! I thought that was just a dream, now I remember those GB2 Beepers! But yeah, unfortunatly I didnt exist when the first came out. I was born in June 85'. But I do remember going to see GB2 at a local drive in theater with my mom and dad. The drive in was tore down about ten years ago. I remember being scared during the tunnel scene. When all the heads popped up. Maybe that's why GB2 is my favorite. It was my first BIG GB experience and I will never forget it. When I saw the first one, I saw it on a 25 inch screen tv that wasnt in very good condition. The color was going out on it. And I was 5 years old when watching it with my parents and grandparents. Good Ol' days.

When GB1 came out I was in the womb, and when GB2 came out, I was 4 years old. I saw the TV ads and loved it.

I must have been four when GBI came out, but I didn't know anything about it. Until the RGB came on television, which I would watch every week with my 2 brothers. That was great fun. Then GBI was aired on Dutch television for the first time and we had just bought a video, and we recorded it. I remember I wasn't allowed to go to the cinema when GBII came out, as I was too young to go alone and nobody felt like going there with me (neither my brother nor my parents) I think I must have seen the second film for the first time on video when I was ten or so. I LOVED IT. Even though I didn't like the new logo at first. Hmmmm. How I love the eighties. Everybody here thinks I'm weird for being a ghosthead, and I don't give a ****. Life can really be fun sometimes...

I'm still very curious about EGB, though. It has never been on Dutch television, unfortunately...
