Egon Spengler's appearance in the Slimed Heroes wasn't as spectacular as he previous appearances. He really didn't come packaged with anything spectacular. He came packaged with the customary proton pack with and orange proton stream, A Protective Mask and the Brain Ghost. The brain ghost would fill with cold water, when sprayed with the cold water the slime would appear on his coveralls. Egon's slime was blue.

The last popular RGB Action Figures were the Slimed Heroes Line. The concept of the whole thing was great; At last kids could slime their favorite Ghostbusters with their Ghost. This line also marked the reappearance of the Proton Pack; Apparently Kenner learned you couldn’t go wrong with those things. It also marked the departure of Janine, She wasn't selling really so they ditched her. The Ghosts Packaged with this line squirted water and when the cold water came in contact with the figures it made it look as though they had been slimed.
