There seems to be a trend with Venkman action figures of him appearing on other accessory packages. That aside Venkman is the first entry into the Screaming Heroes line up. Venkman along with 2 other of his Screaming buddies is the first action figure to ever be packaged with a miniweapon that was actually featured in the cartoon. Venkman comes packaged with a Ghost Trap and Laser Light and the GhoulGroan Ghost, which clips nicely onto the front of his torso.

The Screaming Heroes line was probably the most innovative of the Ghostbusters Action Figure line. What you would do is Wind the action figure up either by its arms or waist. Then you would clip the packaged Ghost onto the back or Torso of the figure then pull a small lever type thing on the figure's back and the figures arms would flap and flail around the action figure's Ghost actually produced a screaming type of sound designed to signify fright.
